This reminds me of the good luck symbol a friend gave me in third grade. She was visiting our school from China, and gave us each a good luck character before she left. I miss her a lot, and I still have the sheet.

TingTing i love you! you use such traditional parts of chinese culture and make it into something modern we can all enjoy I'm chinese myself and recently my grandma passed away, she was the only one in our family who kept the ancient traditions alive . i really like that interesting fact about dumplings u shared with us 😊 in serbia, where i live, on christmas we do a similar thing but instead of dumplings we put a coin in a piece of this cake-like bread and whoever gets the piece with the coin is granted luck and prosperity for the upcoming year

It actually took me a moment before I realized you changed the camera angle. It was so natural. NIce going. I've collected some of the antique ink Shoda ink stones (trays). Love the old stuff.
