Hi! These flip throughs have became on of my favourite types of content. They have such a nice, cozy vibe where i can escape from every days' stress. Thank you Alb, for creating such wonderful videos!
That was me today. :) I have no intent on buying any of it, but looking through it takes me back to the excitement I felt as a kid during the holidays.
these magazine videos have slowly turned into some of my favorites to fall asleep to! i’d love to see a whisperland survey call with a christmas theme if you are still making those 🎄
Always love these flip throughs! What a treat to get a Christmas one this year! Before I turned my christmas tree kitschy it used to be decorated in blue, gold, and silver actually! I love blue as a holiday colour together with metal.
38:07 being a California girl out of my life time living there it only snowed once in the winter we wear sweaters or wind breakers it is weird not having a white Christmas. When i moved to the east and finally experienced a white Christmas i was in heaven now it can’t be stopped i love the snow ❄️
Loved this video!! I was wondering if you could also do a video on a Christmas toys catalog/magazine, I always found those so fascinating as a child! 💓
37:47 ~ I've always lived in California (southern California, to be more precise), and it's definitely not weird at all to have lots of wintry decorations up! If it's warm weather, the decor helps to make it feel more cozy. But it gets very, very cold depending where you live here! And northern California is like its own separate country compared to southern, and same with central California. You could see snow in the desert, too! 😁❄️🎅
your videos scratch an itch for me. i don’t really have the attention span for most asmr, but you have so much to say that i find interesting, so i always end up watching all the way through. loved this one!
Would love this to be an annual installment!!! Also this inspires me to hope for an ASMR gift wrapping video this year 🙏🥰 some of my favorite trigger sounds!
Hi! From CA here. Yes, it is strange to have all "holiday" decor everywhere that completely ignores the landscape/climate of California. It barely rains where I live. Today was blazing sun and 65 degrees. My whole life I have been faced with the complete disconnect of faux snowmen and stores that suddenly start carrying winter jackets when it is still 95+ degrees. Thanks for asking! BTW, lovely video--thank you so much! : )
I visited California from Hawaii and needed a jacket because 65 was freezing to me. Could not find a single jacket ANYWHERE. BURLINGTON COAT FACTORY (which I had never been to before then) DIDN'T EVEN HAVE JACKETS. I was so confused!
@@scenekween666 Yes, I can see how that would be 100% confusing! Where I live "winter" is in the 60s in the day; 30s and 40s at night. But SUMMER: triple digits from May through late October. No joke. An inferno. I go to Target in September for a bathing suit and they are already stocking puffer jackets and sweaters. CA doesn't know what it wants to be.
@@alexandrariggs3768 so strange lol. here on oahu we have so much more winter wear than cali but it's never cold here. It gets to be around 70° at the lowest way up at the top of the island but that's about it 😭
@@sleepysounds5623 Totally!! And yet New York-based retail establishments continue to push the clothing narrative of September-As-Sweater-Weather and get-ready-for-ski-season. So strange.
literaly just a few weeks ago I was thinking it would be so cool if Alb did a Christmas magazine flip through and here it is! I always look forward to your Halloween ones, you should make this a tradition too!
I personally wish you would do more of these. These are so relaxing. I love the tapping and the page turning. Thank you for the videos! Keep up the great work Alb! 🙏
When I was finishing college I worked at the Home Depot, and I would legitimately spend my eight hour shift just reading these Better Homes and Gardens magazines off the rack until a customer came to my register. Everything is them is just *chef's kiss*. No bs, no ads, just really cool stuff!
Im just glad it isn't a thanksgiving video. I've been bombarded with thanksgiving stuff all day even though I'm European... amazing video by the way as always! Your voice is so smoothing
What a lovely, relaxing video! When you said "1950s diner" in the wrapping paper section, it made me think that would be a perfect roleplay video for you! Maybe the diner in the most boring town?
I just stumbled upon this fun video, and am now subscribed to your channel! I really enjoyed this holiday magazine tour, so relaxing and fun. Hope to see more of these magazine page turners, your nails are gorgeous and love the soft spoken commentary!😊
Can confirm. I've seen it get below 40 on the coldest nights of the year, and even saw a very light snow once in Santa Clarita over 10 years ago. The equivalent of a light drizzle and it turned into water as soon as it hit the ground. You can see snow in the taller mountains. I even went hiking in a snowy mountain in Sequoia during August and despite the fact that it was over 100 degrees that day, the snow endured the day cuz it got well below freezing at night. That's all far away from the beach and cities however. Idk about the beach areas though. They might retain some warmer temperatures.
Chinoiserie is a French word, although I've never actually come across it before despite being French Canadian myself. I'll try and spell out the pronunciation. It's said sorta like Sheen-was-sir-ee. Hope that was clear.
As a Californian it honestly makes me sad when its warm around Christmastime lol. I want to wear sweaters and jackets and boots and drink hot drinks and not sweat my ass off 😅
I feel for you....I don't think wisdom teeth should be removed personally...not sure why this is still done.... I worked in dentistry years ago and I think we need to save as many teeth as we can but that's not always the case...I had 3 removed and still have one that has a crown on it.... but hope you heal fast.. that's never fun!!!
