My feet are about 11cm wide and just under 30cm long. and I wear Meindl and Lowa wide fit. Italian boots just don't work for me. I haven't tried this particular pair of Meindls but Bhutans and Islands are fine. I wear comfort fit Meindl when I want a bit of toe room but most Meindl fit me without the pressure around the pinkies I get from other brands.

​@sdemosi just got a pair of Hanwag Ancash ii gtx in their straight fit extra fitting. They fit me great. Plenty of room for the big toe, they feel just right in the width and depth. Not quite as roomy as my Altberg Kisdon they're replacing but there's not much in it yet they have more space for the big toe. The tread wore down in a year on my current boots and the same will probably happen to my new boots but we'll see.

@@MrIliff Hanwag Straight Fit is great. Unfortunately all of their alpine boots are too narrow for me in the toebox so I went with other brands. They make nice shoes though.

This video is nice to watch but unfortunately its not correct for Meindl nubuk. I have exactly the same boots as in video. For nubuk please use "Wet Proof" from Meindl. Its like milk, it needs to soak in so make impregnation day before usage. And of course, no brush polishing. For leather parts (tongue) use Meindl "Sport wax" Its almost 7 years i am doing like this and boots looks like new, fully functional.
