EXACTLY. I hate those asmrists spent all the time doing questionnaires and writing on the paper then spend maybe 30 seconds doing the real stuff because they don't really know what they are doing.

‘Have you seen one of these before?’ No, it looks like a shatterproof ruler that’s had chunks bitten out of it and had someone’s hair slide stuck on the top 😦 I love all these interesting bits and bobs, I’ve worn glasses since I was a baby (literally, they were tied on with ribbon because I was too little to have normal arms on the glasses) and even I haven’t seen some of these things before 😄

I've just been for an eye test the other day, and I kept thinking it was ASMR! .......but eye tests are basically ASMR anyway.......plus you REALLY are an optician, unlike most of the people who do ASMR Eye Exams! It shows as you know EXACTLY what you're talking about, so it makes it even more authentic. Eye tests are generally relaxing, unlike medical exams which can be abit stressful especially when the Doc tells you to relax! Btw, I've just subscribed to your channel...keep on with the great vids!

@Dr SRP ASMR I know you’re an optician, but you would still have to buy or borrow all the other tools in your videos that arent about optics. I feel like a lot of time gets dedicated prepping for these videos and making sure it is a authentic exam. These make me think of so many questions. Like do people’s eyes see different widths and Heights? Meaning that if a measuring tape went around all the area the camera can see in a set point to make a box, the end result would be the window we’re watching right? So do people’s eyes have different... resolutions? Do some people see wider than higher, or longer up and down or diagonally?

We have a set area of visual field, seeing out wider on the temporal side. Conditions like glaucoma may reduce our field of vision.
