I have never related to something so much when you said you rewatch shows and movies. I have done that ever since I was a kid. It drove my dad crazy lol. I’ve watched every season of greys anatomy well over 20 times. It is such a comfort thing!

I read somewhere last year that watching the same things over and over was a coping mechanism for anxiety, because there won't be any surprises. I wish I had saved the article, because it was one of the truest things I'd ever read about myself before I knew it about myself. Also, 4 is the best number.

Grace absolutely kicks arse when I decided to check out asmr she was the first one I come across and since then believe me I have checked out a lot of asmr artists!! Not only is her voice absolutely gorgeous i think especially with her last video just how genuine her struggle with mental wellbeing really is like so many people myself included!! But unlike so so so many other people I have come across asks nothing in return just that you be kind to yourself and others and that you're not alone enjoy the now this will pass(plus she's stunning)

I totally get that the ending of annihilation freaks you out. The music, fx's and choreography come together to convey a weird "alienness" and questions that words couldn't do. I think this is a masterpiece of sf cinema and freaking out is a testament to that! 🤯

Grace! I’m a Communications Major and I learned in my Comm 101 class that movies/ads/tv shows purposely put underlying sound effects and different pitches to illicit a reaction out of you! Like scary movies will have a really low bass playing in the background that you can’t even make out because you’re so focused on the movie but it still sets the mood and gets a reaction out of you :)

I enjoyed this video so much! Watching your videos always calms my mind. I can relate on a lot of your “secrets “. It’s been awhile but I use to like to go to the California State Fair but my favorite was to go to Santa Cruz Boardwalk. They have the best corn dogs in the world. I’m not a fan of roller coasters but they have a flume ride that was alright. I do the same thing for the unexpected asmr. I have a few Bushcraft channels I watch because I love nature but there is also many opportunities for unexpected asmr. I can watch movies over and over again as well. I’m sorry for the long rambling comment. Keep being awesome and you are one of my favorite channels to watch. Thank you for all that you do!
