Beowulf was written in around the 10th century by a anonymous Anglo-Saxon poet. The original was written in West Saxon dialect, most likely it was told as a story from one of the Norse migrants that migrated to the England and the anonymous poet decided to write it down. Interesting to see how different old English was as compared to what we speak and write today.

Oh my gosh, if you would give us a reading from Beowulf, I may never stop listening to it on repeat. I had been wanting that, then this title came up and I got so excited. This is beautiful, but please give us a reading from the poem. Bonus points for reading parts in Old English. It would sound great in your voice.
