omg fanfic!! i’ve certainly spent my fair share of time reading harry potter fanfic but recently i’ve been grinding bg3 fics (baldur’s gate 3), mostly astarion (he’s most common lol). since bg3 is so recent tho lots of the fics are recent too and currently updating
I read fics, I've been obsessed with Steddie (Steve+Eddie) from Stranger Things, for almost two years now. They're totally headcanon but I LOVE them, fic writers are so talented
shocked to find another fanfic reader in the wild! i have also read manacled, and shed many tears over it. i read mostly batfam (DCU batman and family), superbat (superman/batman) and some ATLA (mostly zutara because we were CHEATED.) ao3 is my second home lol i have over 1600 bookmarks
ao3 being a second home is so real, and the 300 tabs being open I relate hard to this 😂 I saw a TikTok the other day that was like 'i check ao3 every morning like you would the news' which I felt called out by cuz I totally do that too 😂
I just know you’d love Our Flag Means Death (it’s a tv show, one with so much lgbtq and poc representation) plus the fanbase is super active and the fanfics and art are INCREDIBLE all around

I find reading fanfictions really therapeutic and healing, because the authors are so honest and they go into a very deep and difficult themes sometimes, which makes me process emotions I didn't even know I was suppressing. And the process of writing is very cathartic and meditative too. I'd definitely encourage you to try it as well. Even if it would be just for you. But really, if you'd ever written a fanfiction, I'd totally love to read it. ❤ Coincidentally, I'm actually currently reading Recursion, too. And really enjoying it. 🤩 Another fluffy, fun one is Reparations by Saras_Girl, which also has a sequel Foundations, which I'm looking forward to reading soon... The Blood Magic has a really hard beginning, but if you can power through it, I promise you it's so worth it. It's really beautiful and wholesome story, full of life's wisdom... ☺
