One of our favorite videos my autistic toddler and I watch you every night when we lay down, he's non verbal but since we've started watching your videos he now clicks his tongue, and makes a popping noise with is lips. He makes those sounds when hes ready to go to sleep to let me know he's ready to lay down and watch you. Thank you for being so wonderful. I’m fairly new to this channel but this family is so supportive. Everyone’s sharing their great news so I thought I’d share mine also, I haven’t picked up a razor in over 6-7 months. After a while I stopped counting, it was a hard experience but I’m so thankful for supportive people like you guys! A lot of people don’t realize this, but the little things matter (like simply smiling or saying hi to someone and giving a small compliment) anyways, i still struggle with self esteem and self love but almost all of these videos make me feel nice. ❤️❤️❤️ “I need you” actually made me cry ❤️

I experienced some of my lowest moments when I was in high school, I didn’t talk to people and spent my days just trying to get through it. I’m in college now and I’m a little better. But yeah I don’t miss high school whatsoever, you’re not alone in that sentiment !
No one is going to see my comment but I’m gonna rant This summer has been awful for me friend wise. I used to have such a close knit group that would do anything together and no one would come in between us...but then someone did. This person seems to have a problem with me and like two other people and never invited us anywhere and basically just kicked us to the curb. Even though we had a very close group I still had this really good best friend she was literally my world I would do everything for her and she used to feel the same way. As this person started to come in (we are always open to everyone and always want someone to have a friend so when she was having troubles with old friends we kind of took her into our group... wow we sound like a cult) they started to take away my best friend and now she isn’t my best friend anymore. Every time she’s invited somewhere and I’m not I try so hard to put up a front and just seem happy for her but when I’m alone I just cry. I feel so unwanted and I only have the other two who are also pretty much treated the other way, but they have other friends to lean on but I don’t. I don’t know how to make friends there are multiple times my really good friends find someone more popular than me, get bored of me, etc and just left me. My school is so small that all of the people were once my friend and obviously no one wants me back. I used to really think I was the problem but as far as I know I’m not mean I don’t throw my problems and stuff on them and I always listen to their problems and try to help them fix it but I’m never helped in return. Freshman year of high school was honestly really cool because I had friends but I’m walking into sophomore year not know who I’m even going to sit with at lunch. I don’t want to continue on with toxic people but if I don’t who else can I turn to? There’s a new girl that came to our school last year and she seems super nice and I really want to be her friend and start fresh but I’m so socially awkward and paranoid I would feel annoying even if I said hi. I’m just a little broken right now but hopefully I’ll be able to pick up the pieces Sorry if there are errors in there I got more angry and sad as I began typing that I couldn’t worry about grammar If you made it this far into my comment thank you for your time I’m sorry you had to read this all
Life Stinks hey man, i read your comment and i’m so sorry that you’re going through this. high school is hard and it can be tough to navigate socially. i’m in college now, so i know it may not feel like it, but you’re not alone. at the same time, you’re right that hanging out with toxic people will only make you feel more empty, try to reach out to people that you feel a connection to. it’s okay to start small so you don’t overwhelm anyone, but just remember that there are so many other socially anxious people out there, who may even go to your school. try to find common ground with people, maybe even reach out to your ex best friend. just don’t waste time with people who don’t value you; ever. i spent so much time doing that in high school and i still regret it. the people who value you will show up when you need it most, and will be the ones who stay when things get hard. just keep your head up, and know that you have people who are listening. ❣️

You don’t have to read this, I just need to write what I’m feeling. 4 years ago I moved to another country. I left my family, best friends, and my home. I have friends where I am now, but I know that we would never be near as close to my friends from before. I see my older friends posting pictures all the time of them having fun, and all I can think about is “I could of been there doing that with them”. I haven’t done anything like that for so long and I miss it so much, from meeting my friends and doing funny things every day, to not really doing anything at all. I get so down some days and I cry myself to sleep. The friends I say I have here, feel like friends inside of school, and strangers outside of it. You don’t need to act on this comment, like I said I just want to write out what I’m feeling to hopefully feel better. I am fairly happy and there are many more people that need your love and kindness more than me. 💗

I wish I discovered this channel while I was mentally exhausted during the month of May. So many things happened during that time. I was mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted to even continue forth with my productive day. I took advantage of being at the age of 18 and excused myself from school early and walked myself home and just laid down on my bed to stare at walls for countless of hours. All I ever wanted to do was just lay down all day and stare at my walls. I locked myself in my room and couldn’t focus in class. My grades dropped significantly to the point I was on the line from graduating. I just wanted to watch my life go away right in front of my eyes. I didn’t have enough energy to care anymore. Towards the end of May I slapped myself back to reality and take all of the little energy and strength that I had to bring my grades up and graduated from high school. Looking back now I blamed myself for letting myself go and how I have no excuses to end up like this. There is more to this but I just think this post is already annoying enough so... yeah 🙃
I'm not even halfway through senior year and I already feel like this is gonna be me soon. I'm bipolar (manic depressive actually) and my mood changes have been a lot more frequent and intense lately. I'm so exhausted all the time, all I want to do is lie in bed and never have to get up, I'm barely eating, and I've only slept 5 hours in the past 2 days. Everything about school and the future and life in general is stressing me out so much. I need to a break from life for a while but that's obviously not possible... Sorry for the slight rant... I don't really talk to anyone about my feelings anymore.

Alright so I’m going to VENTTTTTT So, I’m living the “perfect life” family, friends, pets, pretty well of, ya know, the works. I’m the upbeat friend, and I try to help my friends get through their struggles. But when it comes to mine, I feel like nobody wants to hear them. I feel like a burden. I feel like my problems are so small, so insignificant, but I feel so full on the inside. I always feel stressed and scared and lonely. I feel so greedy for wanting help, and I always feel like I’m never good enough. I cry a lot. I feel like if I tell people I’ll just sound like a attention thirsty brat. My brother has a lot of health issues, and I feel like if I bring up my struggles I’ll stress my parents out. I wanted to kill myself when I was little. I was only 8. I wanted to die. I still struggle and I feel like I’m drowning (your pulling me down and -ah- I love that song 😅) But yeah... done with my rant...
Your feeling are always valid ❤️ you're not greedy for wanting help or attention. It can be tough to have a sibling with health troubles. It's important to care for yourself, too. Reach out, talk to a parent or a school counselor or a teacher or a friend. Keep asking until you get what you need. It's okay to need help.
Emma, you literally described my life and what I'm going through. I now have a 1 and half year old as well and I LOVE my life, don't get me wrong, but it does get very lonely and the few "friends" I had, only contact me when they're in need... never to just check if we're ok... but it's ok, in moments when I feel very low, I like to think about how everyone gets put in your life for a reason, they are either a lesson or a blessing and I just hope that I'm that blessing to someone, like my daughter for example ❤ To be perfectly honest, I don't fully know what to say that will make you feel less lonely but I'm hoping that this will make you feel less alone ❤

Just a recommendation for the foundation issue: Maybe you can say that the foundation has the "magical ability" to easily blend in with anyone's skin tone. I know it sounds really stupid but maybe it's just an idea....?

I was on methadone for 2 years and getting off it was hell. I relapsed pretty bad back on h and now I’ve been on suboxone for a few months. I’m very scared to get off it. Kudos to u for being a strong person! Love ur channel
Why do people initially choose to take drugs? I’m not trying to be offensive, I’m just curious, I’ve never really understood why you would choose to put something that harmful in your body before you are even addicted.
Urban_Thestral I’ve never taken them personally but I do have a father who has an opiate and alcohol addiction. They use these things as a way out, to “take the edge off,” to try to numb their demons, thoughts, and pain. When living with someone who struggles with an addictive personality it can feel sometimes they’re being ungrateful and selfish towards you and your family but sometimes they feel like they’re pushed away by you or not included by you or they can’t ever “catch a break” It’s hard whichever side of this you’re on. Whether it’s the abuser or the family and friends of the abuser. It’s difficult as the bystander to understand why they started and seeing such lifelessness and pain in this person you love and care about and it’s difficult as the abuser being in that mindset or hurting enough to want to apply such harm on yourself.
It’s like an other addiction. Why do we eat junk food? Why do we eat sugar? Your body enjoys it. Sometimes a drug is just a fun one time thing, you think you’re gonna do and it happens to be more when you go for harder drugs.
You are truly an amazing person Karuna, I’m so happy that you can be so open about depression and mental health. I’m from a family who doesn’t believe in depression, anxiety, etc...so a lot of the times I feel alone. I thank you for making me feel not as alone❤️ I love your vids btw

Hi mom, two days ago at about 2am I was tossing and turning because I was so itchy. I went to go to the bathroom and saw that I had itching and burning hives on all over arms, legs, and back. I ate some allergy medicine, and I had no idea what caused them. When I woke up they were all gone (except for some behind my knees). I went to camp, and when I came back showered and put on a face mask that I usually use but in a new bottle. About an hour later I broke out into hives yet again but this time it was all over my face/cheeks, arms, more on my legs, and more on my back. I was so numb and puffy. Finally my mom took me to urgent care. The doctor there gave me some prescription medicine, but could not figure out what caused it. I’ve been spending my days outside playing tennis at a camp all day, so she said it was maybe because of heat or sun exposure, but I’ve been playing tennis for 5+ years and every summer I play intensely outside, so I don’t personally think that is the cause. Anyways, I’m at home (with my dog, trying to relax by watching your videos). I was supposed to go with my parents to pick pick up my sister, but couldn’t because of the way I look (scary and covered with red bumps) and feel (uncomfortable, tingly- but not in the good way, itchy, and numb). If anyone can give me some advice I’d appreciate it. Thank you for reading as I’m sure you have much better things to do. :’/
Oh my god that sounds so scary!! Awww I’m so sorry you all can’t figure it out. I can’t imagine how annoying that must be.. especially having to take meds for something you don’t know if it will fix. In my opinion I think it may be the sun.. were all not too far into summer and the suns rays are the highest they’ve been in human history. Hopefully it’s just something simple. I’m happy I found this video. I’ve been rediagnosed with depression and diagnosed with anxiety a month ago. This year has been very hard for me and my family. We lost a family member, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, etc. I don’t know what to do anymore. The only way I can really relax anymore or get actual sleep is watching your videos. When I first came across asmr you were one of the first people I would watch. At the time I was still a minor under my moms care and we were homeless living in a shelter, a giant room full of bunk beds and at least 100 people. I have bad anxiety so I hated being there. At night I was get into my bed. Hide under the covers and watch your videos. They would calm me down and help me sleep. That was 4 years ago. Now I'm in my own home. A mom and married but I still have anxiety, so watching a video like this of yours really makes me feel safe and relaxed. I know I've said it before but once again. Thank you for everything you do. I have been watching your videos for couple of weeks now and I must say that i love how uniquely different your ASMRs are! The role play part of it is so pronounced yet the side chat makes it so realistic to real life encounters with make up specialists, spa receptionists, sisters (loved that video), aunts etc. There are a lot of asmr channels out there but you are more than asmr, your channel for me is like a theater hall i go to watch a play but i get to be a part of the action as well!
