I absolutely adore this series so much! I kind of feel bad falling asleep during it because I feel like I’m going to miss some plot during it haha! No need to apologize about the upload schedule though! Everyone gets busy around this time, and this is like one of the times where you’re expected to spend a ton of time with family!

I can't get enough of your banter during these haha. It's an amazing blend of great quality ASMR as well as comedy, while somehow still feeling kind of serious. "I'm going to try to keep you from smiling... ... physically, not emotionally." lol. It's great to have these vids to listen to cause I'm still feeling pretty under the weather - thought I was getting over covid but then it just... stuck around. Its not the worse, but the headaches are super annoying. edit: ahhh I love the tie in to the flashback scene!!

I feel like it's the fact that most talking ASMR, even soft spoken ones, the artists are very clearly altering their voice to a sort of silky smooth whisper-like thing, putting emphasis on certain letters, etc., while Lily makes it feel like a normal conversation with someone who just naturally has a soft speaking voice. I always enjoyed this style way more, personally.

Thank you so much, Ricky- the weird storyline idea was actually inspired in me by another ASMRtist long ago. Ephemeral Rift, one of my introductions to RU-vid ASMR, did Lovecraftian Horror roleplays and I just thought it was so interesting. He's kind of a pariah now, though.

Your ear cleanings are AMAZING!!! Maybe the next video can be a No Talking or Minimal Talking ear cleaning video because you got “in trouble” by the team and are on probation and can’t talk to the patient.
As cool as it is that you’d think up a likely scenario for Daltons character… it would be a tragedy for lily to make no talking asmr 😅 there are an uncountable number of no talking ear cleaning asmr videos. Lily’s content is unique and wonderful the talking is the best part
@@ashelodd4973Eh, I don’t think that is entirely true. I’m a big ear cleaning person and a large number of all of my hundreds of Ear Cleaning/Ear Pick videos involve talking. I don’t think it would be bad for there to be a few of these videos that are no talking when the rest have talking. Plus it is helpful for those that love the sounds of her ear cleanings but need to focus and not hear other voices.
@@ItsBriPsycagreed. when im trying to sleep it can be really distracting to hear a person constantly talking (in a language i understand). its really difficult to ignore it and i noticed it keeps me awake more than it helps me sleep
So here's my question: what is it that makes my ear cleaning good if it's not my talking? (And I am not asking this in any kind of passive aggressive way! I am genuinely curious.). Is it the quality of the sound I get from my mics or the speed I clean at? Is it my weird mouth breathing? Lol- I will put a no talking ear cleaning on the list, honestly it would be hundred times easier than Dalton videos because I won't have to think of things to say!

Great video! I actually find the 'incidental' sounds of walking back and forth to grab your props, or setting items down on the table, or rustling of fabric to be the most tingly of all! Could you do a future video where you can walk around the 'subject' more frequently and create minor clicking sounds with your shoes?? That's a huge trigger for me. Thanks!
I've heard that kind of thing from some other people actually, that's why I don't cut those moments out as much anymore. ^_^. I don't usually wear shoes while I record, but I will keep it in mind for a future video.
