Of course you're not bothering me. :) The only way to tell is by reading the ingredients on the packaging. Here in Australia, everything sold in a packet legally has to have ingredients listed on it. If it's food that's sold at a kiosk/market/restaurant and doesn't have ingredients listed I just ask the people who work there. If they sound unsure or seem to be lying I just avoid buying the food so as it's not worth the risk. I would say you should be pretty safe with red bean mochi ,though. There shouldn't be any dairy in it, but I can't be 100% sure. Chocolate will have milk in it unless it's dark chocolate. But even then, dark chocolate can still sometimes have milk in it. Hope that helps. xx

Definitely room temp because it's supposed to be a soft/squishy texture and I think putting it in the fridge may toughen up the rice part. (Obviously this does not apply to the ice cream version of mochi, hehe.) 💕

Thanks Dina! You can get different fillings/flavours. These ones had red bean paste filling (the most common kind and not my favourite, to be honest, but I couldn't find anything else). I really love the taro and fruit versions the best. 💕
