Im pretty sure he isn't actually an optometrist, He just role plays it and does a lot of research on it and collects plenty of equipment. I personally think he does a great job at feeling like an actual doctor and thats what makes his channel so good
By far my favorite gadget you use is the slit lamp! Your voice is so soothing, then with the noises of the machine and the light triggers make a perfect combo for sleep induction. Very well done!
Omg i have biomicroscope interrogation test next week it helps me to review my practice ^^ i'm french and i'm learning this at the ISO (Institut supérieur de l'optique) in Paris, i'm in my 1st year i'm studying contactology i know that here he's using a Zeiss-type slit lamp he also used Wratten 12 filter and cobalt blue light for the use of fluorescent in the eyes i'm so happy that our job of optician/optometrist is represented in the asmr by a real professional ^^ thank you and as always very relaxing (sorry for my english ^^"")
I physically can’t fall asleep to your videos. They’re so interesting and informational. I don’t want to miss anything. Anyways keep up the good work buddy.
The return of my favorite... the slit lamp! The personal attention, noises the lamp makes as you adjust and move it, and the lighting are super relaxing. Of course, what still makes it all work and sync together is your subject expertise and your melodic voice. I am also fond of those brief moments where either the strip or your fingers some into closeup. It makes it seems as though I am there. I can almost feel you touching my eyelid. Super tingly. Saved this for bedtime. G’nite!
I really liked the video, it helps me a lot with the eye tools and you talking also helps, because you have the voice of a friend who lives close to home!
Soooo good i really love your vids they are so instructive, relaxing and fun to watch! Never change, actually i've been working with hospitals and doctors of all specialties and now i'm on my way to apply to a university to study optometry, you gave me the inspiration and i hope i can get to be as amazing as you, take care and keep up the good work!!!
@@SRPASMR You will always be number one to me! And that’s a promise! I always come back to your videos! They’re perfect! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Amazing job, SRP. Your last two roleplays were very good to the point that I took some time out of the day to pay the attention you deserve (I usually watch asmr as background noise), thanks bro!
As a person who had an eye condition and had to go to hospital appointments constantly to the ophthalmology department, have them yellow drops and a hundred time have to put my head in one of these, this is so realistic!! 10/10 ASMR!
Thank you for another great video SRP ❤️ Since omega 3s and flax seeds have been mentioned a bunch in the comments there is a brand called Barlean’s that makes liquid flavored flax and fish oils and they’ve helped tremendously with my dry eye issues and don’t taste gross or have fish oil burbs (a common side effect). Hope this tip helps!
Most of the way through the video I was wondering ‘I wonder does he know he’s got omega 3 and flax seeds written on his hand?’ Then it finally fell into place and I realised why 😂 great video! 💜
oh i need to get some groceries for dinner, i think i need some omega 3 and flax seeds. keep it up man haha videos great, maybe throw in some more easter eggs in like the shopping list, its fun
Wish I could remember Any of this education and technical words would love nothing more to impress my optometrist but with dyspraxia by brain is a bouncy castle anything I try to watch learn intake just bounces right off and dosent get remembered.. All of this is seriously interesting to watch and learn
This video reminded me that I should consider going to the doctor again because of my eyes... The doctor said my eyes were the driest he'd seen in years, I'm just glad I wasn't THE worst case he'd ever seen. But eeeehh I'm sure this video can substitute a doctor's appointment, right? :^)
I've always been curious since it drives me kind of nuts - at 5:01, I hear the click, but you keep rotating it a bit after the click. Is it still "in position", or did you rotate it slightly past the "click" where it stops? Amazing video though, video and audio are great.
I know things are a bit exagerated for the asmr effects, but I wonder, have you ever forgotten you were talking to a real patient and carried on as if recording a video?
How much is 'too much' exactly? when it stops you sleeping or when it stops you performing simple daily tasks because you've developed narcolepsy from your post midnight ASMR addiction ... (too much is never enough)
