I'm such a weirdo. For some reason, when August "the face" or "the _____" instead of "your ____" I find it so tingly. Either way, I'd go to August for dermatology, aesthetics, image consulting, or anything else! Also, I had no idea about the skin/ovulation thing!

Love the new angle of Lucy being laid down. I love your videos August, the only thing that gets me is you are so meticulously real life- like in your research, demeanour, execution, etc, apart from the gloves! I have never seen a professional apply skincare with gloves on like this. They really take away from some of the videos.

Higher end spas use gloves so maybe she just has different experiences than you 🤷🏼‍♀️ and other asmr artists use gloves for the crinkle sound

I absolutely love the glove sounds! Just goes to show how individual ASMR is and there is literally no pleasing everyone... Lots of spas use gloves to avoid bacteria transfer on the skin especially acne prone skin. The heat from fingers can also be problematic.

Ehm… I’ve only experienced gloves on at spas and I like that best no doubt. That way I’m safe knowing that fx a hand lotion they might’ve used earlier containing perfume doesn’t get on my sensitive skin on my face. As a nurse I would also never not use gloves when applying anything (even just moisturizing lotion) to a patients skin. That’s just hygiene. Edited for spelling.

Oh honey! No! Don’t put the moisturizer on and then “release toxins”. Extraction after cleansing and toners before moisturizer. Always! Lol I know this is “just a video” but tbh this triggered my concern for her skin care.
