This male ASMR story is for history and gothic atmosphere lovers. In tonight's talk, we explore the origins and multiples faces of two myths: werewolves and dragons. From Ancient Greece to China, Scandinavia to Egypt, we travel the world to discover the roots of their modern, fantasy or fiction iterations.

As someone who has had no exposure to ASMR prior to discovering this channel, I’m still pleasantly perplexed to what is so great about this channel,( I’m in no doubt that it is. Since coming across the genre, I’ve had a look and listen to others and they leave me a bit cold, with the ASMR component being possibly less of interest to me at the conscious level). There’s some kind of emergent quality to your work that goes beyond any individual components being analysed.... at least for me. It would appear I’m responding to the allure of both the information and the presentation/delivery, mediated through the specifics of your accent and personality, in a way that I would never previously have imagined would necessarily be appealing. We all have lots to learn about ourselves it would appear lol

@Nicolas d'Avout not sure where you're from but they do a lot of languages in French schools. My partner is french and knows Spanish, English and Japanese. But he's only fluent in English, so this guy is much more impressive 😉 Maybe the interest started in school, though :)

I love your ASMR your voice is incredibly relaxing and its fascinating to learn about the background to these creatures, your subject matter is always interesting :) Plus the whole atmosphere of the video with the books and fireplace etc makes it feel like I'm in the past listening to old stories. Really unique and bonus that the vids are long too because I find those the most helpful when trying to relax :)

51:00 this always baffled me as a child. In my area snakes, both poisonous & not, are rather common. As a child I would catch them & it scared my mother so bad that she took to telling me stories of how evil snakes were. I still continued to catch them so my father taught me how to tell which were poison. So I caught look a likes to scare other children away. They called me "snake witch," "saleibsa" or "drakesa". To this day I find it hilarious because I claim those titles & find animal stories fascinating. I'm also glad you included the Chinese zodiac story because mine is actually a snake! How fitting.

I am so surprised that your name and that VOICE aren’t bursting into much bigger media! I honestly cannot think of a single “project” currently in voiceovers for a plethora of audiobooks, movies, cellphone voices……my mind boggles at the endless possibilities! The format in which your stories are used is amazing! I never listen to men in ASMR. But I do now. As of yet, only yours. Your voice is so lovely to fall asleep to. 1) I appreciate your time stamps SO much, because I really like most of the topics you cover, 2) I have never, never gotten tingles from a male voice, nor did I find them particularly relaxing (except for @MichaelSealey) but my goodness - you have such a unique tone and cadence to your speech, and your accent is like honey to my American ears. I tingle asleep within minutes of starting one of your videos.

I’ve always thought it was hilarious that the goto method for testing a witch was ‘tie them to a rock, if they come back up they’re a witch’ ok, so either you end up a murderer, or you now have a witch. That is soaking wet and *pissed*. In what world is that a good idea?
