Welcome to our channel. Our family. Now your family. A safe space •
Tonight’s video has been requested for years, yet I did not know how to go about it. This video is for those who suffer from SPD, or Sensory Processing Disorder. The short version is where your brain can’t process normal senses and you deal with a “sensory overload”. My son suffers from this, but only when certain sounds trigger him such as yelling, or a crowd of people.. it’s usually noises, and sometimes different fabrics or food textures bother him too. Anyway, I wanted to do a video dedicated to this as I figured those who have it may not like the constant asmr sounds, it can be too much.
So in this video I only turned on one light, I chose triggers that were not too loud or too soft, I spoke in a direct word for word dialogue and took my time creating asmr. The toys used are made for children on the spectrum, therefore their sounds are gentle too. I hope this brings relaxation for not only those with SPD, but everyone! So please! Sit back and relax, and enjoy this gentle triggering asmr. Know I love you with all of my person family! - and I will see you tomorrow.

I like how everyone in here is so nice to each other. Someone asked "did she get Botox in her face" and instead of saying "duh" or "that's none of your business" they reply with "yes she's talked about it in previous videos❤" its so nice to finally see some non toxic people in the world 💕

As someone who is autistic and suffers from sensory overloads quite a bit, I really love this video. A suggestion for the future is that maybe don't make eye contact with the camera! Eye contact can make people who are autistic feel overwhelmed or even hurt them, and I know many autistic people do suffer from sensory overloads! Again I love this video nonetheless, thanks!

Hi! I’m a person with SPD, and really appreciated the recognition! I hope you can make more vids like this because we really don’t get enough recognition. If it helps, I have a few critiques and pointers to help if you decide to make more videos like this! •I liked the fingertip tapping on the back of the paper and the stroking, but the fingernails tapping the stickers did make me a little anxious. Maybe an alternative idea could be peeling and sticking the stickers on the back of the paper? •mouth sounds and trigger words, to me anyway, can be extremely overwhelming and anxiety inducing. Same with mouth clicking. My alternative idea could be going without repeating words. I did like the whisper voice you had in the beginning of the video! Really calmed me down. •sharp sounding tapping and clicking can be a bit too much for me, but brushing and fingertip taps are good alternatives! •the squishing visual was quite satisfying, but the liquid-y sounds were a bit too much. Foam squishies could be a really satisfying alternative for videos like this. •glass tapping and liquid was especially a lot. Plus the tapping while shaking was overwhelming. Possibly leaving that out of you did another video like that would be quite helpful. But, I really enjoyed the really quiet lid opening. •tapping while talking was somewhat overwhelming. But overall without the fingernail tapping, I did enjoy the tape measure. Especially the brushing. •but on the topic of the tape measure, possibly be a bit softer when closing the tape measure 🤗🤗 •the scratching was nice. Only criticism is to be just a little gentler with doing so! •LOVED THE LITTLE STRESS BALLS!!! Really nice sounds, very gently, I liked it a lot. Favorite part of the video. •the gentler use of the other squishy was a nice addition and I really liked it. The comparison was nice and I really liked it. Just make sure not to have them making sounds at the same time. •tapping on the brush handle with fingernails was a little much. That and the trigger word/mouth clicking while brushing the Camera was a little much. The mouth clicking in general was something I would do without. But, other than that, it was one of my favorite parts of the video. I also loved the recognition that constant sounds can be a bit too much for someone with SPD. The visual brushing and especially the mic brushing snipits were really relaxing!! •the video overall was really nice and it was nice getting recognition for SPD. People don’t pay much attention to the disorder as a whole and we still wanna be able to enjoy the ASMR hype too! I would really love seeing more like this! Edit: I also remembered one more thing: try to avoid eye contact with the camera! Many people with SPD also struggle with autism and eye contact can make us anxious.

I suffer strongly from SPD, I am 19 years old now and it has gotten worse the older I have gotten unfortunately, but it does become easier to handle. It’s hard because it does affect every single aspect of your life. The fact that you, my favorite ASMRist, have taken your time to make a video to relax and help someone with my disorder, means more then you will ever know. Thank you very much, this video helps in many ways. I wish more people were aware and understood SPD and knew how hard it is to struggle with this. Like how much you know because of your son also having it. It is very hard. So again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart‼️💙

i don’t suffer from a sensory disorder but i do get overwhelmed very easily - from both sounds and sights, however this is largely due to my severe anxiety. I find that i do often get overwhelmed by certain asmr videos, which means i take a while searching for the right one. As soon as I saw this video, I clicked right away. Thank you, Karuna❤️ your videos have helped a lot when i am in a rough state of mind.

So this video is amazing and I would just like to use this as a moment to spread awareness about Sensory Processing Disorder since some people do not know about it/are a bit confused as to what it is. Firstly, it is not the same thing as ADHD or ASD. It is VERY frequently found in people with either or both disorders, but having ADHD or ASD does not automatically mean you have SPD. Sensory processing disorder is a condition in which the brain has trouble receiving and responding to information that comes in through the senses. It is different for each person and is on a spectrum. Some are oversensitive, some are under-sensitive. Some people can’t handle the sound of a loud vacuum while others rub the arm of a chair incessantly. It just depends on the person, but no matter what, it is important to remember that what people with spd feel is real and they do struggle. It affects their life in sometimes really complicated ways. The good news is that it tends to get better with age. So please, spread awareness and help inform others about this disorder. Remember, you are not alone.

I just wanted to stop and say.... I love how real this woman is and how transparent she is. She doesn't have flawless makeup 100% of the time (while she always always looks beautiful), she gets surgeries to improve her appearance (for her), she's had a bit of a darker past so her history isn't the cleanest and she's been open and comfortable enough to share all forms of herself with us. She may not get to read this comment but if she does...I love what you do, and the person you are. NEVER change my dear! 🥰 I always come here when I need to wind down and relax.

as someone who suffers from derealisation a lot, maladaptive daydreaming and who is afraid of the passing of time, who has the impression of never really living and who feels like all my memories are invented by my mind even when seeing photos/videos, this video helped me a lot and calmed me down. I never knew how to put a word about what I felt, if it was a disease or not, I don't even know if I really do derealization or if it's just me who has the impression. this video wasn't even intended to calm me down but I don't know why it did, it's so calm and there aren't a lot of things going on, it makes me feel “real"

I absolutely love ur asmr. Every night now I find myself going to sleep listening to ur vids bc they are so relaxing and they put me to sleep in 5 minutes. Not only do they help me sleep but they are extremely therapeutic for me. I was diagnosed with ADHD 4 years ago and I started taking meds for ADHD to help me focus and not trail off as easily, but because of quarantine I have been forgetting to take my meds so these videos are extremely relaxing and calm me. My ADHD prevents me from going to sleep early most nights because it’s easy for me to get distracted and stay up, with ur videos I can settle down listen and fall asleep. The amount of commitment and thought u put into this channel and ur videos is amazing to me, and how u can relate to some people who may be going through stuff also amazes me. Your truly one of the best people on this planet inside and out. You have an amazing smile and an extremely therapeutic voice! Keep up the good work girlie❤️
