[ASMR] French Teacher - Night School

Little Mistakes In This Video : 1:00 In France we don’t say « hello class » it’s like you’re saying hello the classroom, the place and not the students. Teachers says “bonjour tout le monde” or “bonjour à tous” 14:53 IT’S « comment allez-vouS » 16:39 IT’S « trÈs bien, merci » 33:20 if you say « c’est combien » in french, it’s a bit rude. To be polite, you could say combien cela coûte/combien ça coûte/combien cette chose coûte/combien ce [the thing you’re asking the price of] coûte ? 38:32 : IT’S « je ne peux pas manger DE poulet/ DE poisson » 41:34 : the « p » at this end of « beaucoup » is a silent letter 50:24 IT’S : « pouvez vous répéter? Instead of pouvez vous LE répéter » 59:10 IT’S how many and how much too 1:02:45 joyeux means further joyful than heureux heureux is happy, but the exemples Sophie gave were correct tho. These are the main mistakes Sophie made, there’s some other little one but not serious ones. Sophie did a great job! This video was helpful and relaxing at the same time. I’m french but it still a pleasure having french class with Sophie. If I decided to point out these mistakes, it was only to help french learner AND NOT to criticize or something... Plus she’s doing that great 👍🏼 PS : another advice in french : to say : « can I [...]? », you can say : « je peux [...]? » -> common way. But to be more polite and formal you can say « puis-je [...] ?» « Puis-je » also means « May I[...]? » For exemple to say « can I have the bill/may I have the bill/the bill, please » you’d say : « puis-je avoir l’addition s’il vous plaît ? » I certainly made some mistakes myself in English, sorry for that :) Hope this will be helpful 😉

French is so hard bc you can put the words in so many ways, it will still mean the exact same thing, except it's more or less familiar. It can be useful sometimes, but when you learn a sentence, you have to learn 10 others which are usually used, for exemple : "How are you ?" can be said "Comment allez-vous ?" To someone you don't know at all, or "Comment vous allez ?" To someone you have respect for but you know enough (such as your mother in law), "Comment vas-tu ?" To someone you know well and have respect for (your friend's older brother), "Comment tu vas ?" Or "Ça va ?" Or "Tu vas bien ?" To a good friend. It's so complicated, and I could even add more.

Instead of "Que veut dire ça?" one should say "Qu'est-ce que ça veut dire?" or in more familiar way of speaking: "Ça veut dire quoi, ça?" One could also choose to say it with Québec's expression: "Quossé que ça veut dire?"

Nice vid Sophie.The sound is good. Im a video student and I noticed your Chroma key screen isn't working too well in this vid. (was the bg green? Blue?) Example- Part of the pen is see through bc its same color as your bg cloth.Also, youre probably standing really close to the bg, so its color is also reflecting back onto you and your white board creating the see through effect.I hope this helps you in future vids.
