I know background noise is usually something to avoid in ASMR but.... never underestimate how much some people need white noise to relax. 로린님, plz don't push yourself too hard ㅠㅠ... Everyone needs to take rest and recharge. I had similar burnout earlier this year, and also don't like what I am working on, but in the meanwhile I am looking for job and getting interviewed right nowㅋㅋㅋㅋ I might end up to get some slower paced job in a slower paced city to rest for a few years. Don't worry too much and you will find a way out finally, and I am happy that you try something to feel better instead of forcing yourself to keep working or doing ASMR. 😉
Same, I learn japanese as a hobby and besides that I just go to work and workout everyday, but I got burnout of learning Japanese. I’m not over it yet but I’m trying to enjoy news stuff, right now I’m watching self motivation videos that teaches you how to love/ value yourself and get over social anxiety. I also am experiencing insomnia, it is all stress tbh, I’m trying to fix my source of stress, and also taking melatonin to aid my sleep to create my sleeping schedule again
Hi Laurine, just wanted you to know that I'm also a professional and I've worked myself up for years trying to achieve more almost having no breaks. The times that I had burn outs was when covid happened and now recently due to a lot of personal matters piling in. And now I've taken rests and ready again for a new journey. It's important to take rests from time to time. Good luck and rooting for you as well!

Shes just like us fr Im very lucky because the medication ive been prescribed makes me very sleepy. Having said that, i find that lowering my body temperature really helps me fall asleep faster. Opening windows for airflow, taking shirt off, putting my fan on, taking off over-ear heaphones and using speakers etc. help me lower my body temperature and fall asleep faster
I'm also in school studying video and film. It's really intense and fast-paced, and I totally feel you on really thinking about "what am i doing with my life" moments😵💫Glad you got some well-needed rest to have a bit of a reset! Hang in There! 💪
Yeah life can feel so difficult for no good reason. Just the accumlation of stress that builds and builds, then hits you before you even realize it. There's no shame in feeling like you need a break. I wish I learned that years ago haha.
You don't have to apologize for burnout and wanting to have a life outside of making RU-vid videos for us. I think most of us if not all want you to be in a good headspace and feel good making videos for us!

Guurl, did we live the same summer?! 😮😆 It was the same for me with a lot of days were I just didn't feel like doing anything; like even the things I usually enjoy wouldn't really get my mood up. Maybe it's all part of post-concert depression. I still stay up until like 5am a lot, trying to handle my emotions. 😕 Thank you for being strong and for the video! Btw. do you have any K-drama recommendations? I also really enjoy watching them. No matter if scary, serious, fantastic, mysterious, romantic or a mix of the above, anything goes. 🎬🙂
Great that my suggestion on your live chat to sleep at 12am instead of 4am had worked out very well ☺! Even I also slept at 4am before and faced burnout, now I do not. Also, go outside and hang out with your friends and explore new places, it will help you even more 😄😄. Also, in mornings it will provide you with Vitamin D which is great for bones. I wish I could meet you in person and fix your left arm as a Chiropractor ☺☺🙆🙋
