I was 10 years old when the SNES hit stores shelves. I still remember the TV commercials "now you're playing with power! Super power!"

Your game store RP's are probably my favorite ASMR series on RU-vid. There's just something about the way you explain everything, shuffle through the games/controllers, talk about your favorite games, etc... and of course that angelic voice just puts it over the top! Oh and I love that t-shirt as well! 🥰 SNES and N64 was basically my childhood, and are probably still my two favorite consoles of all time.

As someone who saved for months when the Super NES was announced as coming out in fall of 1991 I very much enjoyed this (and was impressed by how pristine that Super NES looks), thanks for the relaxing nostalgia trip! Now I just need to bust mine out and play some Mario World!

SNES had an incredible library. This is why I have owned every *CONSOLE* of Nintendo's since the NES. Donkey/Diddy Kong, Mario Bros., Link/Zelda, Metroid, Starfox and so many more MAINLINE titles. Sega was also awesome but not AS awesome. LoL!! Sony has GT and MGS. XBox has Gears, Halo and maybe one more. So Nintendo has a massive family of titles that always return.

Born in '81 so I remember the SNES quite well. So many good games, can't pick a fav, but Earthbound always comes to mind. But also, Super Metroid, Link to the Past, Super Castlevania 4, Contra 3, Mario RPG, FF4, FF6, Illusion of Gaia, Secret of Mana...

Can’t believe how good the condition is on that system. By the time my old SNES laid down and died, practically the whole thing had turned yellow. There wasn’t a trace of gray left on it.

You actually understand asmr. There are some content creators out there making ASMR that just don't get it. It's not about creating something "relaxing." It's about the voice, the cadence, and the nonchalance. All together they trigger it. You're really good!

I love your video! It's nostalgic because I used to work in a used video game store in the early 2000s and cleaning up old systems/games was anything but relaxing lol. I suppose a video about scraping chunks of beef-stew-like-substance out of the nooks and crannies with a windex-soaked toothbrush, or using all your strength to use a paint-thinner-soaked rag to wipe off the crazy old rental stickers would not be very relaxing :D - Thanks for what you do!

Little known fact: the so-called lost levels in Super Mario All-Stars are actually from the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros 2. The American version is actually a remake of a different Japanese Nintendo game, which is why it’s set in a completely different world with all different enemies and a different style of game play with the pulling up and tossing vegetables.

It is a little before my time, but I grew up with 4 siblings, 5 kids is a lot of expenses, sooo we didn’t really get new consoles frequently, I used to play Super Mario World all the time because we didn’t have a Wii yet, and our Gamecube had broken

YOSHI ISLAND, That game brought me and my brothers super close because we moved allot and we would have just had beds, TV and our super Nintendo (ofc clothes and stuff) but we just had us and this game, played until the TV went OUT happened allot. I just found a copy around my birthday in April and was super happy.
