But crucially, when you place a breath syllable on the comma at the end of line 3, the meter is perfect and makes it nice to say aloud. The rhythm just rolls off the tongue. And yeah, slant rhyme. The breath syllable is questionable but overall a solid poem.

I've had the pleasure of going to Germany 🇩🇪 a few times. Beautiful place! At first I had gone to Hamburg and Berlin. Though I later returned and have since been to Frankfurt, Munich, and Hannover. Lovely people. Amazing culture, and found that Germany is very similar to Canada 🇨🇦 (my home.) Many of my friends here are from Germany. Definitely worth a visit. Only the neighboring Netherlands can compare in terms of hospitality. Though the Dutch are just inherently sweet. Also turns out they (the German/Dutch) all speak at least some english, so those years of learning german weren't of much use, haha. Eitherway, I love your channel and what you're doing with it! Bro, no hate. But in Europe, almost every country have natives who knows atleast some english. Everybody is fluent at english in Sweden. And yeah, loveley comment.
@@814x6 Yeah, I've come to see that over my Travels. Sweden is interesting because almost 100% of the population speaks at least some english, and people never seem to be speaking swedish, instead using a mix of the two, haha. But even in France & Italy, I saw that at least 70% knew some English. It made me rethink why I had learned French and German for so many years, haha. I guess I just liked learning other languages and about other cultures.

It's pretty similair to English because i learned it by myself and I'm 12. Although i watched a lot of English RU-vidrs and played English videogames. Its also pretty similair to German as i said and iff u understand a word from german, then u will probably understand the dutch word for it too.
@@Sunkem1Not6Hacks Dutch is ranked as being the language most similar to English if I am not wrong. It are both West-Germanic languages (there are three main West-Germanic languages: English, Dutch and German) and Dutch and English are closer to each other than German because German uses grammatical cases and that makes it different. Frisian is even closer to English but it is not a language spoken by a whole country so no main language. Funny enough I don't understand a single sentence in Frisian while I speak fluently English, Dutch and German.

I remember when I was in highschool English class, we had a project. A girl named Amber was tasked with writing down our groups work.. And as she wrote it down I was in horror, "Jerman" haha i still laugh about it today, even though it's stupid. Like when we used to erase the teachers writing on the chalk board from "gym" to "jim" and then laugh at our teacher and say she spelled it wrong! Worked like a charm.
I just try to copy what I hear mostly in videos and games. Compared to my classmates my pronunciation is pretty good but I wonder how distinguishable I am from a native speaker

If I may correct you, it's "die Grundkenntnisse", so in that case you would say "mit den Grundkenntnissen". Also, you say "ich habe bessere Noten bekommen" (I have got better grades) or "Ich habe bessere Noten erreicht" (achieved). Anyway, that's cool! I hope you get along with it. 👍
I learn German at school and I’m pretty good at it and I also really like it! But this year I’ve got another teacher, she’s from germany and moved here (Netherlands) And I absolutely hate her :( I’m thinking of switching german with another subject. That would kinda sucks bc I love it and I’m in my last year of high school so that means I wouldn’t get a grade for german on my diploma 😩 I wish I could get my old teacher back, he was by far my favorite teacher ever!
Aesthetic Asmr definetly keep german. I switched French to another subject because I didn’t like the teacher. And now I regret it so bad. If you like the language just keep studying and don’t loose your motivation because of a teacher.
I'm in the process of learning German as we go to Austria and Germany almost every year. Both countries are absolutely stunning and the people are friendly and full of fun. I'm British and am very proud to have German relatives now that my daughter has got married.
Auch wenn Deutsch vielseitig und komplex ist, ist aber Polnisch vom Lernaufwand her die schwerste Europäische Sprache. Besonders als Deutscher ist es sehr schwer die Sprache fließend und einwandfrei sprechen zu können.;)
