I think you don't realise that no one notices how big your forehead is or how red your eyes are or how pale you say you are, because all in all what we see is a pretty face with stunning eyes and a lovely, genuine smile. How more beautiful can you get than that?

I know what you mean about not liking your skin. I have rosacea on my face and my neck. I have never liked it but it's so sensitive it's hard to wear makeup. I have learned to love it because it's me. Sophie, you are such a lovely and strong human being. Being able to own your scars and love yourself is such an amazing characteristic that a lot of people struggle with and I'm happy that you are able to. Even though I do not wear makeup, I like watching the "fresh face" to makeup & this type of video. As a man, I find it rather enlightening how much women go through putting on makeup. I did not grow up with sisters, etc to see what they go through. I also like when you explain things like how red your eyes were from rubbing the makeup off, etc. It helps me to understand. Love your voice & your hair is always so pretty =).

I have battled terrible acne for years and only over the course of the past year has it cleared considerably. I stopped wearing lipstick except for date night a few years ago, I wear Burts Bees Shimmering lip gloss in rhubarb 90% now. I wear my hair up in a pony on top of my head when I go to bed. This was a nice girl bonding time, very nice and relaxing. ❤️

Thank you for the relaxing video. You shouldn’t be down on yourself when talking about your appearance without makeup. Life after college/university can be quite stressful especially if like me you don’t get a job in the field which you studied. But it all works out and I wish you best of luck in becoming an actress

mmmm, peppermint tea. Will that be too stimulating for bedtime? I use the same stuff to remove my makeup and clean my face by Garnier for about three years now. I love love love it! I have very oily skin and large pours since forever. One thing my mum taught me was always going to bed with a clean face, I think that helped my skin. I don’t wear makeup at all unless I leave the house, I think that is nice to let your skin breathe. Even so I didn’t start wearing foundation at all until I was 31 and even then just for work. I can’t stand the way it feels so I apply it with a dry sponge so its as thin as possible and no powder. Now I only use bare minerals on my face when I go out for a date night, instead of foundation. I think it does the job nicely for coverage and it feels/looks light and natural. Thank you for showing us your au natural look, that was nice of you.
