Only problem is what she was doing would only tangle my hair into all kinds of next week lolz. Or at the least not pik it out at all. U gotta go deep and pull out. Lolz no pun intended. The top payer isn’t much good. Also she’s wrong about our hair. Our hair doesn’t get greasy like white folks does. We have special products to hydrate our hair while they have to rinse out excess natural grease.

Always gotta be that somebody that complains they ain't doing it correctly. First off, she's using a doll. So the hair isn't going to even feel like a natural black persons hair. And 2nd it's an ASMR, not some kind of teaching class for black hair care. Don't over analyze something that shouldn't be analyzed. Lol

When i was little we all played in the White kids hair in school and they let us, and they played in our hair, we had to teach them how to play in our hair cuz it wasn't like theirs, but it all worked out.

As a child, I use to fall asleep at the barber shop as he was trimming my hair, this would annoy him as my head would tilt down due to the mass amounts of tingles on the back of my neck! It also didn't help that inside his shop was chili cause the AC was at 70° during July which also gave me tingles! To this day I tend to get relaxed and doze off a bit in chili environments!

Okay but real talk-Things get stuck in my afro, bc I have a pretty big radius, so I resonated with that random string being stuck in the mannequin’s head. It’s why mainly keep my hair in low maintenance hairstyles like twists. When my afro’s out I gotta wash and manipulate my hair more frequently and my crown likes to be left to its own devices. She do what she does and I have zero intentions of telling her what to do lol 😂

In the day, (1950- 1965) we called that a rat tail comb. Ratting is like tight back combing, with the tail to lift and shape. We stopped it because although you could build a great up-do, it broke and damaged the hair. Now with back combing, not near the stress on the hair shaft.
