This feels like hanging out with your cool older sister and her friend and trying to not be annoying so they don’t kick you out.

My head cannon is that she started doing it as a way to annoy us into moving seats but halfway through she genuinely started enjoying it and didn’t mind us being there.

I love the idea that the listener is just sat there while this random goth girl sits down and scratches their hair/face, and instead of moving they’re just like, “Welp, guess this is my life now.”

"Cause you're pretty and you're smart and you're ignoring me, so you're obviously my type."

I love the interjected "No, no, keep going." because even the friend is like, "Do you two, like, need a moment? I can come back?" over this idle fixation.

Oh no I LOVE the idea of this. In person I kind of just enjoy listening to friends talking around me while still being engaged in some physical way (playing with my hair play, rubbing my back, doing my make up, etc). I don’t feel like that’s a common comfort, so it’s a pleasant surprise to see ASMR like this where you’re talking to someone else not the viewer!

The makeup and hair is really on-point in this one. Gives me the feeling that goth girl is secretly a vampire or something.

Reminds me of my junior year in a new high school. This senior girl did basically this to me the whole school year 😂 she tended to hang out with these rambunctious guys but loved to sit behind me and just play with my hair. We never spoke besides her greeting me with this bubbly “hi sweetheart!” I regrettably never told her how much that helped my anxiety quite often. Her last day before graduating she gave me a big hug and told me to stay out of trouble. I hope she’s doing well out there wherever she is.

Edit: wow you guys really liked and also kinda hated my story lol. So a few things to mention or comment on. 1. Yes I’m a female? Idk why it really matters but hi hello lol 2. This wasn’t a missed love story to me because I started dating the person I am happily married to now in 9th grade. Currently I am 26. So I think it’s okay. 3. Why didn’t we become friends? We were in different circles. Just wasn’t something that happened. This wasn’t exclusive to me, from what I know talking to my friends who had other classes with her she did it to pretty much anyone that would let her and sat in front of her. 4. Why didn’t we talk and was it awkward? No. Just never did I don’t know. Neither one of us put in the effort to talk. 5. I tried looking her up on Facebook as someone suggested and didn’t find her so maybe she’s married now or something. Anyways thanks for reading my story definitely didn’t think so many people would care or think much about it. 💜 OG Post: I had a girl like this in high school. She sat behind me. We were NOT friends at all, legit never talked outside of one time… but she ALWAYS played with my hair. I have really long hair (goes past my waist) and she would just play with it. The only time we talked was the first time I thought my hair was on her desk and she was moving it so I apologized and she said it was fine she wanted to just play with my hair. And yeah that was it, never talked again and for a whole year she played with my hair almost everyday during class. I think about her haha

I love how the listener just sits there and let's this happen as it suggest that this is a common accurace , and I think it'd be really funny if this was the entire relationship the goth and the listener have, they aren't friends, they aren't acquaintance, not even a friend of a friend of a friend. They had exactly one conversation in which goth girl asked permission to do this whenever listener said yes and they haven't even spoken to each other since.

This is one of my favorite characters from you. A sequel where she ignores everything else and focuses on just viewer would be peak

The way you judged the camera on 0:12 is EXACTLY how I'd expect to be judged by a goth girl IRL. And that honestly melted me.

funny enough, most depictions of goth girls in media is always the mean/rude girl, which I don't mind that much but most goth girls I knew were actually the sweetest people I had the chance to meet. So long as the fascination for coffins and old timey horror movies doesn't bother you, goths are actually so nice to talk to lol.

Ok so _my_ personal storyline for this is that this is the same Occult Goth Girl who is obsessed with us, the one we have already become friends with and been to her house twice (refer to two previous videos) But since then we’ve had an argument or something or we’ve just pulled away from her, so she’s gone off and spitefully got herself involved with a bunch of popular new friends, but she’s *still* obsessed with us! This is her deciding to sit opposite us at school whilst we’re reading or doing some work, which would explain why we’re just sitting there not interrupting her and she sits with us to make us jealous about her and her new friends but she *still* can’t help but show us personal attention … That’s _my_ interpretation anyway!
