Agreed!!! It makes such a good sound and no one ever does it, it's so frustrating !😅 and the sound is so less aggressive than scratching, I don't get why scratching wins over rubbing everytime 😂
You know, I think the thing about gripping (at least my thing) is it makes any surface sound more like sticky tapping! Thanks for keeping us well-stocked in variety and underrated triggers!
Video Idea✨ I think an interesting video idea would be if you could buy different coasters online and rate them based on how good they are for tapping and scratching. So that could include regular coasters, ones with different textures, toaster coasters, etc.
The Scratching was definitely my favorite with all the different objects, as you said at the beginning Gibi: "Scratching will never die." and I fully agree, that's the trigger that years ago first gave me tingles in the 1st ASMR video I've ever watched, and it still works to this day every time I listen to it, I always get the most tingles with it 😌, but the Tapping was also really good. I loved that you used the Carmilla background for this, I think it worked perfectly for this video too, especially since it's still October, also loved the: "This is a dog toy that I stole from Satine, it's mine now." 😂 Poor Satine, in previous videos I thought you just borrowed it from her 😆.
The thing is…I was having such a bad day and I just clicked on this video and seeing you (the only ASMRtist I trust and watch) just got me bursting out in tears… Like when someone hugs you and all the shit you had together the whole day just breaks out. I really just need your voice now and cry a little into my pillow so I can forget all of this shit for 39 minutes❤️
Ahhh I’m excited for this one I, personally, absolutely _Adore_ tapping and scratching ASMR!! Gibi always brings the best asmr videos so I know I won’t be disappointed 😌
I always go to gripping videos like this when I have a headache. 'Cause I'll typically squeeze pressure points on my head to relieve pressure and the gripping sounds reminds me of that.
Wow her voice is so soothing and relaxing, everytime i watch her videos i feel like im meditating as I'm feeling peace and comfort within my inner core. good job🥰😻💖💝, just so charming
I’m going through some of the worst times of my life and honestly Gibi and some other RU-vidrs are helping me take my mind off of it all. Thank you so much for all you do.
Youre not alone. Im struggling badly too. And these videos are so helpful. Only advice I would offer (and should probably take myself) is dont be afraid to ask for help if you need it. Good luck.
Video idea, I’ve never seen stuffed animal or plushie asmr so I think it would be cool. Also I love your videos they help me fall asleep when I can’t get to sleep and I just watch them even when I don’t need to go to bed!❤❤❤❤
This is one of my favorite videos by you ever! The TINGLES were nonstop and I've fallen asleep before it ends every time, thank you Gibi! Please can you do more videos like this in the future? 🙂😴👍
the toaster coasters rubbing “smooth the butter” thing is tingly!!! so so much better it was may first time listening to rubbing triggers and it was rlly my fave trigger of all 🤍
Funny you used the mimic book because honestly, every one of make, I can not help but tap on each one because of the awesome sounds they make.... but I completely agree with you.. toaster coaster is high on my list because of the hollow sound and scratches. Manga book grasping is also awesome
gibi doing triggers with the lotion bottle is brain-melting in the best way. seriously so many tingles. gripping is soothing, tapping is light and airy, scratching is tender, and rubbing is smoother than molasses. 🫠🥹
i feel like most asmrtists don't use pauses affectively. they don't play around with 'build up'. they just kinda full-speed ahead with whatever sound they're doing. there's no 'anticipation' for the next sound most the time.
I hope I always see a smile on your face gibi..you are helping many disturbed people around the world ..and that's noble thing to do ..i know you are benefiting from this but you really help..Thanks.
I’ve always been interested in some sort of massage asmr, like rubbing skin. Preferably without oil for me, but, idk i’ve always liked the sound of rubbing🤷♂️🤷♂️
Scratching is rubbing but with fingernails. Where as tapping can be both with or without fingernails which are two totally different and unique sounds. My personal preference is always rhythmic combination of those three (four) together. Gripping is just a little too slow and lacks that bit of a chaotic Symmetry brought together in videos
I honestly would never think a lotion bottle would be her favorite Trigger lol... But the more I think of it that kind of tingle is rare I've never seen anybody use one 😂 So understandable
I really enjoyed all the grippings, so relaxing. But i did not get any tingles, it's more of a satisfaction feeling. Like my eyes are happy and relaxed by gripping
my first experience with asmr was so good i found a new job at the park lol but it was low paying for me so i just went home to listen to some asmr stuff lol 😆
Chugging mountain dew baja blast spiked with 5 hour energy while i listen to asmr so i can experience every tingle on the full spectrum of human emotion
definitely now one of my absolute essential videos for sleeping, it sounds divine!! thank you so much, i literally had goosebumps every two seconds. it's a blessing to my messy sleeping schedule 🤍
They were all good, I love tapping. Scratching gave me the goosebumps/shivers up and down the spine and rubbing gave me that tingle tension on the base of the spine, both are considered ASMR but big plus, I love those types of materials, the matte surfaces, like cardboard and paper
This is unrelated to the asmr, but Gibi, your jawline to cheekbone areas are kinda satisfying. It may just be really good lighting or something, but it looks maybe sharp or flat or snatched? idk how to describe it, but it's nice. That's all, have a nice day!
Omg I have to say that book the gripping the tapping the scratching & rubbing was all so good but the rubbing gave me tingles for the first time in forever
