the only problem with this roleplay is how unrealistic it is because she's not being interrupted every couple minutes by some kid who needs to ask a random question or tell a random story
I didn’t really read the title, I just thought that this was some kind of Halloween makeup class but then she told Benjamin to get out from under the table and I was like ???
I remember in elementary school Halloween for us used to be very snack-focused. The class moms always made Halloween treats for everyone. My favorites were dirt (chocolate pudding, gummy worms, topped with Oreo crumble), and spider cupcakes. Such good memories of a happier time in my life. Thank you, Erin.
Worms in dirt are classic! We sometimes got Domino’s pizza too. We did trick or treating in the gym and a school wide costume parade in the parking lot!
@@cecilyerker we didn’t get gym trick or treating, but we did get the costume parade in the playground/parking lot and pizza from a local place! Good times!
Plot twist: the strange girl ( I’m not sure if she has a name yet ) is part of the class and demanded Eloise be on the register, so it’s just Eloise in her hand :3
@@internetstorage Yeah, that's why I was really happy she asked. I'm one of those people, I don't like getting grabbed from people I don't know well enough, makes me cram up.
I do not even know what a crafts table is. I think we probably did not have one. We surely did not celebrate Halloween, the only day with costumes and sweets was Rosenmontag, the highlight of the carnival season. Nevertheless, I really dig this teacher, I wish I had someone like her to have a crush on. ;-)
I'm an education major, and this is the exact kind of teacher I want to be! Also, your handwriting is so nice! I can't remember seeing it in any past videos. Or maybe I was already asleep by the time it showed!
My sleep deprived brain is actually malfunctioning because my kindergarten teacher had the same exact paper scarecrow decoration in her classroom during autumn. I have forgotten everything about grades 1-5, but somehow, I explicitly remember what decorations were in my kindergarten class. My brain is strange. :) Anyway, I would just like to say that the attention to detail for the set always blows me away. She even got the quintessential themed border correct! Erin, if you see this, I would like to mention that your extra effort never goes unnoticed. I always really appreciate it because it really immerses me in the setting, which makes it *that* much more relaxing. Thank you for all of your effort, from the bottom of my heart.
@@unallamaa I think what shocked me more than the fact that my kindergarten teacher had the same paper scarecrow was that I *remembered* the decoration. I had kindergarten over ten years ago and my memory is super bad, so I was really surprised when I recognized it, lol.
How could anyone dislike this video?! I don't actually think that's possible! You're creativity is amazing and your execution is astonishing! The ASMR community is very lucky to have you and so are all of us!
Why is this making me cry right now?? I love Halloween and just the comfort of remembering how excited I was to see everyone's costume and trick or treat later that day...
This is so nostalgic. I had a teacher that was so loving and so giving, especially as our neighborhood was low-income. She would throw us the best parties, give us goody bags... I remember she always included an Avon lip balm for the girls and little Disney ornaments. I still have it and it’s one of my most treasured possessions. I’m 31 now. I looked her up a while back and she passed away last year at the age of 83. I think of her often!
@@ileanamalave8282 I’m just glad she’s with her husband now. He would pick her up every day from work and come in and say hello to all of us. They were a sweet, old couple. He passed away a year before she did. I wish I had told her how much I thought about her. 💕
That is so sweet! I'm sure she remembered you and all her students that she taught. I can def relate as I had a young teacher when I was in third grade who was so sweet and kind to us, I looked up to her too. Still remember her sweet smile and her pretty voice. I think she's married with children, probably all grown up now too.
I loved my fourth grade teacher. I had just changed to a new school that year, but she made the transition so much easier, and helped me find new friends (one of whom I’m still friends with). Her breast cancer came back a few years later, and she wasn’t able to beat it a second time. I still think about her, though.
*me relaxing* My brain: *picturing a room of rambunctious kids running around, yelling, one kid crying that he ruined his craft, someone needing to go to the bathroom, and everything getting messy*
Yes, when at 16:26 she asked everyone if we all had a cup and a spoon to start making slime, I imagined at least one kid SCREAMING "YEEEEEEEH", about 3 kids who already squished the cup, and one case of "miss mooooooooon, they took my spooooooooooon"
@@bonkradiation I literally lost my first teeth at MC Donald's while chewing a chicken nugget and I didn't realize at first because I thought my tooth was part of a bone 😭😭😂😂
Halloween was my FAVORITE holiday to celebrate in grade school. I didn’t know how much I wanted to be back there until I got this notification... Side note, thank you Erin for inspiring me to make my own content!!
Wow she's really good at what she does. She's not even just a good actor she's a good world builder too. Watching this vid actually reminded me of what halloween was like in elementary school for me lmao
METHINKS I HEAR MONSTER MASH IN THE BACKGOUND edit: THRILLER edit: ADDAMS FAMILY edit: SPOOKY SCARY SKELETONS edit: WHY AM I SO EXCITED edit: HEADLESS HORSEMAN edit: I fell asleep
My Halloweens as a kid at school mostly consisted of the teachers giving us these big plastic reflective bag that had some character talking about Halloween safety. And we only got to do crafts sometimes if it was a nice teacher, I think we could wear our costumes but there were super specific rules and such. Not very fun in my opinion, but Halloween has always been my favorite nonetheless.^-^💚💙💜🌹 🕸🕸🕸
This video makes me feel so safe and so much like a little kid again. It's funny how we can remember childhood experiences like this as being so relaxing and comforting when for the teachers it was just dozens of hell gremlins sprinting at full speed toward unsafe objects and screaming about boogers or something
so I'm trans (ftm) and I never got to experience childhood things as myself, so imagine my happiness when I heard you call "Benjamin" on the roll-call list 🥺🧡 this is going to be my favorite video for the rest of my life. thank you, erin!
You know it's an authentic school Halloween party when "Ghostbusters" starts blaring out of the speakers! Another awesome video Moon, incredibly nostalgic!
This is so relaxing and cute! Only unrealistic part is that the kids had no questions at the beginning 😂😂💜 whenever I work with kids there's a never-ending amount of questions
Also: that each table is quietly behaving while waiting for their various craft demonstrations, without any kind of time filler. I would have halloween themed coloring sheets, drawing prompts and/or word searches available, myself.
When the beginning was playing my video was choppy so I heard “sponsored by audible the inventor of spoken word” and boy was I impressed Edit: also isn’t Eloise also the narwhal from a very strange haircut? This is either an Easter egg or an unrelated overlap but either way I’m living for it.
One of my teachers had some sensory issues (4th grade). She actually DID whisper ALL the time... And guess what- it worked. Everyone was very quiet in order to hear her. Even the rowdy kid couldn't resist because she was such a cool teacher- and if you missed something fun or awesome- she wasn't going to say it again... So you may have missed out on finding out what the game would be that afternoon- or that you could get smarties for finishing your vocab crossword puzzle before lunch! She was an awesome teacher.
Goodnight Mooniverse theory: The “quite a strange” character is a child who goes to this school and this is her teacher 🧐 Side note, thank you Erin for inspiring me to make my own content :)
The protag of Babblebrook left the town where the witches reside, so it'll be a while! We have to meet the Queen- er, do SOMETHING to the Queen before we get to come back, but we should get to. She just has a story planned for us.
i miss celebrating fall at my elementary school now 😭 we used to have a 'fall festival' and wed do different activities in the different classrooms like oil pastel pumpkins, scary stories and stuff. man the good ol days
omg this brings back memories of elementary school when you had school b4 a holiday and the teacher would have games and you would watch movies and stuff. Good times indeed
There are also a lot of families that don’t celebrate Halloween due to religious/cultural reasons, so many districts don’t want to have Halloween celebrations in school. Districts I’ve taught in have done other things to keep it fun in other ways, like pajama day or dress as your favorite literary character.
This is so sweet. I honestly think it would be fun to host an adult kindergarten day where like an office would have snack and recess and nap time during the workday. Would definitely boost morale.
I only just now realized that when Erin says that there is a crossword on the bag, she is pointing to a maze and upon further inspection, there is no crossword on the bag.
Erin, you would be the best teacher ever. Miss Moon: Good morning children. Today we will be learning about quantitative methods in economics... Children: Awwww. Miss Moon: ... via the medium of fancy pipe stems. Children: Yaaay!
this filled a void in me i didn’t know existed, australia wasn’t big on celebrating halloween when i was in primary school so we never did anything like this at school during the spooky season so it’s very exciting for me to be able to sorta experience it now!! thank you erin!!
Thank you for activating a specific buried childhood joy that I forgot about. Needed this self-care badly. If we ever able to produce immersive simulations I would pick these tender moments to experience.
My little girl has watched your videos with me since she was a toddler. She is now 5 almost 6 and wanted me to tell you that she LOVES this video and wants to watch it everyday forever! ❤🎃🍎
pls do more of these kindergarten roleplays - not only was this super relaxing, i was able to feel like a kid again after not having much of a childhood myself
I keep coming back to this video cuz it just makes me so happy to feel like I'm back in elementary school. I would've loved to have Erin as my teacher, she woulda been my best friend for the year ^w^
Tomorrow for school we get to dress in our cosplays so I'm dressing up as Rantaro Kiyama (for those Beyblade Burst fans) with make up, wig, and small fans!! I'm so excited!! (Edit: no one knew who I was, but I rocked it and we watched The Nightmare Before Christmas in Art Foundations!)
Imagine having a grade school teacher that actually showed the class affection and kindness rather than annoyance and anger that you couldn’t read a sentence properly.
Erin I am SO blown away by the production of this video! You can tell how much time, effort and planning went into this amazing asmr experience :) thank you!!
I will watch this all year long, even when it's Christmas. In elementary school I LOVED Halloween and the fun crafts we would make. This video makes me so nostalgic
i honestly watch your videos whenever im too anxious or overwhelmed to fall asleep by myself... you have such gentle mom energy and i appreciate it very much 🖤
I'm a preschool teacher and I deal with the realistic side of teaching young children, why do I find this video relaxing when I just came home from corralling chaos?
this makes me miss holidays in elementary school! i remember in second grade our parents came on the christmas party day and i made a marshmallow/pretzel snowman. i love this video idea btw!
i’m so so excited!! i’m already getting so many tingles and the ambiance alone is so relaxing. Thank you Erin 💕 I hope you and Chris are staying safe and healthy! 🥺✨
