I love that Erin has wigs that look completely natural on her for characters with a different hair color, and wigs that look like wigs for characters who are supposed to be wearing wigs in the fiction of the video. Such an incredible attention to detail and I love it.

as a makeup nerd AND halloween enthusiast, this is so my jam. i found myself thinking out my response to the makeup questions and seeing the look in my head (but girl why would you take away the blocked out brows??? that's the star of the look??)
I'm guessing it'll look more like her own 20s makeup looks? She doesn't do the fully blocked out brow. I figure it's because so many people compliment those looks especially

She needs to space them out because they're very labor-intensive, with scripting, keeping track of the lore, set-building, makeup, costume, etc, plus all the editing after. They're also apparently far and away her most expensive videos, even just the set. Someone also said some of the videos aren't filmed at her place but like a stage (?) I didn't fully get that one, my sister saw it on Insta apparently. Since the Handmaidens video wasn't that long ago and the Queen is most likely next, I imagine that particular set/background is a nightmare to build, without even accounting for royal garments and such, so that's probably why she's taking her time, since she doesn't use greenscreen. But I highly doubt she's abandoned it ^^
@@RavenSutcliffe I am very well aware of all these details, thank you😊 I studied theatre and definitely know to appreciate the immense work behind all of that! What sources does your sister got these informations from? There is barely anything on Instagram about Erin's behind the scene life other than she is/was a make up artist who even went or maybe still goes on competitions. At the beginning she was almost throwing out one Babbelbrook video after another sometimes weekly, sometimes monthly. And I bet she puts the same effort into her current videos with the backdrop, the costume, the script etc..sooo there is not a huge difference, maybe in a financial point, I give you that. I assume it's rather change of interest of doing different kind of videos, experimenting. Who knows🤷♀️ I guess us subscribe are still allowed to dream and ask right? So there is no lecturing needed😉 I am very well aware of all the effort and happy everytime I see a new video😊

Sadly the babblebrook series has been stressing her out for quite a while now, which is also why uploads have become more spaced out. She's gotten quite big so I'm sure she feels a lot of pressure to deliver quality content all the time and many are very attached to that series
