Asmr hand sounds with no talking at all. In this video I do not talk or whisper, just listen to the relaxing sound of my hands. Hand triggers are one of my absolute favorite and I hope you are able to unwind with this ASMR video.
ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response, which is a tingling, static-like, or goosebumps sensation that some people experience in response to specific stimuli. The term was coined in 2010 and is also known as "brain massage"
ASMR can be triggered by auditory, visual, or tactile stimuli, such as:
Auditory: Whispers, accents, crackles, low volume sounds, or the sounds of someone's fingers touching something
Visual: Gentle movements, kind facial expressions, or watching someone create something
Tactile: Lightly touching someone's hair, hand, arm, or back
The sensations are said to start on the scalp and move down the body, sometimes across the skull, down the back of the neck, or down the spine or limbs. People who experience ASMR may feel pleasant feelings of relaxation, calm, sleepiness, or well-being. Some say it can also reduce stress, relieve insomnia, improve mood, and help with pain symptoms. A 2017 study found that participants' heart rates and breathing slowed while experiencing ASMR, similar to relaxation techniques like meditation and yoga.
ASMR videos have become popular on RU-vid, and some video makers have large enough followings to support themselves by making and providing this content. Some video makers describe themselves as ASMR artists, or “ASMRtist” for short.
