Этот сустав вместе с мышцами и другими тканями делает большой палец удивительно подвижным и сильным. 3. Рукой управляют три группы мышц. Если бы эти мышцы размещались в кисти, она была бы крайне громоздкой и неповоротливой. Третья группа, состоящая из более мелких мышц, расположенных в самой кисти, обеспечивает пальцам точность движений. 4. Наши пальцы можно назвать живыми датчиками, поскольку на их кончиках находятся около 2 500 рецепторов, занимающих площадь в один квадратный сантиметр. Рецепторы, в свою очередь, различаются по виду и функции. С их помощью мы чувствуем текстуру поверхности, температуру, влажность, вибрацию, давление и боль.
