Hello everyone,
ever wanted to know more about the Sun King (Louis XIV), the court where Queen Marie-Antoinette lived before the French Revolution, or why the Palace of Versailles was built outside Paris? In this ASMR video, I tell you about Versailles. As always, I hope you find it educational and relaxing, that it can help you to fall asleep, and/or maybe trigger your ASMR.

Perfect French accent is perfect. Wonderfully relaxing and very interesting! I wandered around Versailles some years ago... I do most of my traveling around Italy but this makes me want to return to Paris and take the train to Versailles. Lovely voice and history, merci!

I have question, when you say king Louis. You pronoun it as luis. But I've heard people say looey. Which one is the right pronunciation? Thanks for the awesome video mon amie. Lol my ridiculous attempt at french. ; )

I don't know how it should be pronunced in english, but in french "louis" is pronounced "looey" as you said. Maybe those people were just pronuncing it the french way :D .

yes as clad89 said, the right pronunciation in French is looey. Luis is just an attempt to make it sound more familiar to english-speaking listeners.
