I never stated it wasn’t narcissistic then, nor that it’s more narcissistic now. Simply that it still resonates. So maybe my argument would be less shitty if you didn’t incorrectly presuppose what I said.
@@elenak9975 Literally just written on a used napkin with a pen that was almost out of ink, and you had to use the back of your hand as the writing surface.
That scene in Nightmare Before Christmas where Sally is picking the ingredients for the potions used to trigger my ASMR so much can as a kid. I tried so hard to recreate it to no avail lol
lolita and mother! are so stressful and problematic and by the entire movie the last thing you feel is relaxed... so is strange see in that way. good video
As a huge lotr fan, I've seen the movies around 100 times each and never got the asmr from them. But now I see it!! So soothing and slow and Galadriels whispering was amazing 🤗
Rashid X it’s about how a this man, Humbert, who develops a very inappropriate obsession, attraction and relationship with his 14 year old stepdaughter named Lolita. This is just the general plot, when you watch the movie there are a lot of other problematic things happening.
zekehbu no, the movie is not in Netflix and either in Hulu but I watched from RU-vid. Search “Lolita 1997” in RU-vid and the complete movie is going to appear (the 1997 version is the one showed in the video)
Dude I just watched American Psycho for the first time a few hours ago and I kept thinking “wow, these scenes could make some really good asmr”. I didn’t even search this up, thanks RU-vid recommendations
Ahh finally LOLITA is in the asmr compilation, this movie is literally ASMR..jeremy iron's voice is the most beautiful voice I've ever heard and the accent oof
I had the same reaction when I was showing off my new pog slammer to my friends back in the day. I feel your pain Christina Bale. Damn you scorpion slammer
TrustmeimexperienceD bruh it is NOT poetry art. the movie is supposed to make u forget how messed up the situation and then feel disgusted. its supposed to manipulate ur emotions rlly
@@sombruhcolomar7254 yes...and that's exactly what good art does, manipulates your emotions. Its a story dude. The fact you feel good (or bad) about it at all means it's doing its job.
Earlier Steve Martin movies have some ASMR. The scene in Roxanne when the lady at the drugstore shows him how to apply blush on his nose. And there are a couple scenes in All of Me when he's speaking low, particularly the bedroom scene.
Omygod I forgot about nightmare scene !!I've it in this context and I loved it then always wished it was longer - i love watching and hearing those tinkering scenes
There's a movie called The Shunning and there's a scene where the main character and her mother are scrubbing the wood floors and walk around on them and that feels like asmr to me
My favorites!!!!! Twin peaks!!! Mother!!!!! Lolita (the Jeremy Irons version of course, although I love the shit out of Stanley Kubrick, at the time unfortunately he couldn't make the movie he wanted. Seriously an amazing adaptation), n.b. Christmas, and American Psycho!!!! This rocks, I just subscribed LoL
I was a background extra for The Fighter and I only did it because Christian Bale. One take they did was fantastic, but David O. Russell said on the mic 'Christian that was great, but we are gonna have to go again because the rope (or cord) was in the shot". A lot of people wen't "Oooh" followed by a tiny laugh... because this was about a month after that 'Bale Rant' was released from Terminator: Salvation set. Christian Bale was cool about it. He even helped the camera guy by holding the cords behind him in the ring in a couple shots. He didn't have to, but he just jumped in the ring and helped him. He usually had ear buds on listening to something. I wondered if it was either music, or he was listening to 'Dicky Ecklund' speaking, the person he was portraying.
There's a part in harry potter 3 that when Trelawney talks the facts for Hermione, her voice was pure ASMR, and i feel it very young and coudn’t describe it
Should have included all of liv Tyler’s scene in lord of the rings. She makes her voices so much deeper than in real life and therefore is even more soothing than usual
Okay I have to say it at 0:27 this dude really said "presents...like Christmas" Bro you a grown ass man and the only way you can comprehend what a gift is, is by thinking about Christmas....
Does anyone remember that scene from the Omen ‘06; where the nanny lady is feeding Damien strawberries? I always remember that scene being so bizarrely relaxing.
Nightmare Before Christmas one is great and would be better if i could find a version to lower the music tracks and keep the sound effects the same for a greater effect
And here I had just watched the whole LOTR trilogy in one day and decided to calm down with some asmr and what do I find? Some more awesome LOTRs stuff :D
