Omg, Gibi this is awesome! As a sporty spice worshiping tomboy, former softball player with my dad as a coach, piano lesson taking choir kid who loved being in school musicals, super undiagnosed adhd and dyed their hair jet black throughout middle and high school bc I wanted to look cool at the mall arcade's ddr machine line about to crush captain jack on heavy mode - I related to these sooo much. Unlocked a crazy amount of nostalgia :)

I really appreciate you doing something like this for us Gibi, these videos where you show stuff and share stories from your past allowing your community to get to know you a little bit better are always so entertaining and fun to watch, it kinda feels like hanging out with a friend honestly, although I'm sure this is probably not an easy thing to do in front of so many people, especially in this case considering how personal (or cringe lol) some pictures can feel, I could never do something like this in front of a camera, I'll probably be to scared, so thank you.

Oh my gosh, a lot of these were like a blast to the past for me - the try hard emo days, the awkward middle school phase, the photography phase, etc. I remember using Picnik aaaaalll of the time to edit my photos and wow, some of them were bad lol Kudos to you for sharing these! I love when you see an old picture of someone and you can tell it’s them. I know that sounds weird but I struggle so hard with faces to the point where if someone changes their hairstyle too drastically I will think they’re a different person. I just love when you can tell “oh yeah, that’s them!” Weird stuff friends.
I always wanted to be that confident in middle-high school but I could never get over the fact that I was being judged. I think it’s awesome that you always did your own thing and really just gave no Fs, cuz that’s how I wanted to be in school but never was.

5:30 fun fact- I’m a dancer as well and they put makeup on children who dance on stage to highlight their facial features and expressions- the bright stage lights often drown out the face so you can’t really see the dancers faces too well unless they are more highlighted

Looking at all of the pictures from middle school to high school gave me nostalgia super hardcore. Everybody listened to MCR, Escape The Fate, etc. It's like nobody could escape that scene kid phase.
