Tazo's, pogs with metal slammers, tamagachi's. Pokemon on ya gameboy colour. Trip bulldog. Bn biscuits and sunny 'd drink everyone got the sunny d basketball. This was every break and lunch time in the 90's 😂
Admittedly, I didn't realise into a few minutes in that this was you, but this content is amazing. A lot of ASMRtists are afraid of deviating from their content. You shouldn't be, this video was as amazing as the others!
He has others like this, various appraisals or the movie recommendation video kind of plays very similarly. I love these ones, always keeping an eye out for his more personal videos about memorabilia and the like! I believe he has a video on video games as well!
I think this has become an SRP staple at this point. Do look up more of these on his channel. All great. Nostalgia, SRP sharing the collection pieces one by one, I mean his collection as far as I know, as though it were your collection he’s appraising the value of. Remarkably relaxing. Puts me right into dream state and off I go to sleep.
Tazos and pogs, good Lord am I dreaming? I HAVE THAT STAR WARS COLLECTION! The joy of opening a pocket of crisps to discover that greasy plastic wrapped tazo 🤩 joy like that has never been recreated ❤ love the throwback SRP
Omg I remember collecting taxis in school 😂 I think I had them all, probably long gone if my mum had anything to do with it 😂 I remember there was a Star Wars one too that I completed. Really nostalgic!!
Gotta say, some of my favorite videos of yours are ones where you’re explaining something, or going into depth with a subject. I think I like them the best because you talk the most in them! Great work
So weird but I recognised Kanchelskis instantly from a distance, my mate used to have that figure on his shelf right as you walked into his room. Total nostalgia! ❤
I had vague memories of the regular Tazos but then as soon as you pulled out the Qubix one I was hit with so much nostalgia and the feeling of joy when you pulled out one you didn't have
Apparently Tazos were different depending on where in the world they were distributed, cause when I remember Tazos, I think of little metal discs with a very satisfying click (edit) or, upon googling, apparently I'm not old enough to have experiences the cardboard ones xD
Here in Mexico tazos were very popular having collections from a lot of shows and cartoons over the years going all the way through the decade of 2000's as well
I grew up in the 90’s and I have absolutely no recollection of any of these objects! I feel like I lost out on part of my childhood!!Nonetheless, your appraisal videos are amongst my most favorites. I return to them time and time again because they bring about such seriously strong ASMR for me. There is something about watching you examine items with great care and discernment, whilst you describe them in great detail with that exquisite soft spoken voice of yours, that just sends me over the top with head to toe tingles. Thank you so much Doctor for all of your hard work, dedication and talent! ❤
@@katherandefy I’m actually happy to hear that I am not the only one that had no experience with these things! I was really starting to question my whole childhood! I think for me that it may be because my parents really shielded my siblings and me from any sort of pop culture. They were quite strict about it. We were only allowed to watch TV if it was some kind of documentary or other educational programming. So no sitcoms or anything else that others would watch for entertainment. So for me it is not just these toys. I didn’t experience a whole range of other things that most people take for granted. The one big plus was that I learned a lot! But you are absolutely right, it is so incredibly relaxing to watch all of this! Steven has this incredible gift for finding the ASMR in anything! He is truly extraordinary!! 😊
Hi 👋 m8 how are you doing do you have any more stuff like this? I love to see your collection 😊 all of your collection on different stuff thank you for the video 😊
I never knew the English translation for flippo's (Tazoos). But in the Netherlands we had them as well in the 90s. Don't remember star wars ones, but the Looney Tunes characters were definitely the pictures on the flippo's here as well. It kind of was the first thing where I learned to trade with, in combination with marbles. Sweet childhood memories.
Not an area of interest to me but loved all the binder page turning and the plastic sleeves sounds and as always, your voice! Oh yes, and the cash dispensing 😄
Barkley did play for the Suns and did play Jordan in the Finals, but that Barkley is wearing a Houston Rockets jersey, and even though the Rockets were the defending champs (when Jordan took time off), they couldn't make it back to the Finals, and Barkley never won a ring :(
FOOTBALL CRAZY, CHOCOLATE MAD GRAB A POWERPOD AND PLAY FOOTBALL WITH THE LADS! A MICROSTAR IN EVERY ONE, A HERO IN YOUR HAND, THEYRE THE GREATEST PLAYERS, FROM THE BEST TEAMS IN THE LAND!
Jason from Toronto. Love the football figurines, reminds me of the rare “Garbage Pail kids” figurines I collected in the late eighties. They didn’t last long as they were very politically incorrect!
Seeing Tazos takes me back! You must be a similar age to me, SRP. I was born in 1988 and these were all the rage when I was in primary school. I can remember the metal slammers getting banned because kids were getting hurt by them, as they often had sharp edges on them.
OMG my childhood in that video 😅 Tazos, Tamagotchis, electronic agendas, Disney cartoons, music... I'm super nostalgic about the 90s. The design for most things was so colourful, light, happy. So many colourful toys, things to collect (but of course, mum couldn't afford them all). When I was a kid mum bought a second hand gave me a second hand comic book just because it was colourful and dirty cheap and it happened to be Lost in Andes by Carl Barks only the best story by Donald duck ever. I fell in love with reading right there. And because of that now I'm building my own Carl Barks' Definitive Edition collection. Btw we also had those same mini football players collection in my country. My favorite one, of course, was one of the best ever oh his time and was born in my home town: Ronaldinho Gaúcho.
OMG!!! I thought Tazos were only in my country (Argentina) or south america even! I can believe im just finding out at this age people have all around the world! 🤭. I lost all mine a time we moved houses 😔
Loved this video, especially all the United figures. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has always been my favorite. I couldn't get United on TV in the US when I was quite young, though... probably would have loved Cantona too if I got to watch him much in those years. Quite a collection!
I must be a bit old for Tazos/pogs. I finished high school in 1991. We had the bobble head figures but here in New Zealand it was the All Blacks Rugby team of course! Another great vid!
wow, the memory of the tazos made me tear up a bit but then you bring out the kanchelskis figure that i also had and is still my fav everton player, thankyou for this amazing memories.
Aw those take me back. I'm surprised to see how close I was to completing both the Tazos sets, nevertheless, I didn't make it through enough crisps it seems. I had no idea that some were only in Doritoz!
I had the looney tunes tazos set and until watching this video I completely forgot about the Star Wars set that I also had. I also absolutely loved pogs. So cool to see them again. We need slammers!!!
@@SRPASMR Theres a Tazos World set, a Monster Munch set, a Space Jam set, a Pokemon Set, and also a bigger Tazo & Bigger Star Wars set that was released in Australia. I have them all.
Tazos were really popular in Puerto Rican elementary schools. I don’t know if it was an actual game but we would play by sitting across from each other and taking turns trying to flip our tazos. If you flipped it, you would keep it. I had many a time where I would start with a small stack of them and leave with an extra dozen lol
