One of my favorite movies is said to have inspired the Zodiac Killer, CHARLIE CHAN AT TREASURE ISLAND had as its villain, a figure named Dr. Zodiac who loved making a mockery of black magic as well as the police. Sidney Toler as Charlie Chan states that Zodiac suffers from "pseudologia fantastica." If you have the DVD for the film, it has a great documentary about the correlation between the film and the real life murderer.
There is an excellent book on the topic of the Zodiac killer. It’s a crazy story. Some of the letters he mailed to the police were absolutely chilling. The movie is pretty good too.
I'm down for some True Crime ASMR style too haha ...your type of harmless and gentle voice is good for it too, even freakier probably with some like subtle haunting background music/ambiance, almost like you'd be telling some fireside horror stories in the dark and alone ("I'D" be there to truly protect you though, rest assured -- or "die trying" giving you a safe 'out,' my Dear 👍;). ...Yeah anyway nevertheless I'm pretty familiar with a few of these cases from my own various curiosities expanding my knowledge in the totality of this here crazy world we call home, like Zodiac of course, obviously truly infamous, and even the lesser known ones like the Boy in the Box and that case of Tara Calico along with that creepy Polaroid-like photo (if truly authentic--supposedly of her and some unidentified young boy, originally thought possibly to be the missing Michael Henley at the time as you referenced correctly here as well) allegedly kidnapped and held hostage and god knows what else. And speaking of which, DON'T look up " Israel Keyes' " supposed snapped and haunting 'photo' too--again, if also truly authentic--unless you wanna be freaked out as well, as regardless if it's the actual real one or not, there 'IS' an actual real one that exists and the actual story behind it, in this, what-would-appear-to-be unassuming photo on the surface is what really makes it sadistic, and yes on that note too, goes w/out saying, a special shout-out to Texas local law enforcement at that time, them dudes thankfully were #ON it in that particular Case haha). While I may be intrigued by True Crime and other unsolved mysteries, I'm just as fascinated but more moved by the "Hunting" #OF the 'hunters,' ya see ;) ... PERSONALLY speaking I have somewhat of a soft spot for these types of things particularly when it comes to especially "Missing" persons cases, as when "I" was much much younger, as a boy, I KNOW for a fact, without a doubt, I was actually more than likely being 'targeted' and slowly followed by some f*ck*ng creeper in a car when I was walking alone one day, what would be my best guess probably sometime '1994'-ish, which would land me at a mere late-12 or early-13 years old, in broad daylight literally right around within a block, ON the same block of our home at the time (nobody was home at the time however--I was a single-parent, "door-key child" as they call it) and eventually only got him to drive off/scared off when after more or less immediately sensing it, that something definitely wasn't right and trusting my instincts of course and changed my original destination and plans and direction instead cutting my trip short and just simply kept walking over to one of my best friend's house nearby at the end of the opposite side of the block, cause this was going on for a bit and who knows when this, 'f*ck' would try to make some kind of move, and relieved at the upcoming sight of his step-dad, good ol' Gary as I still clearly remember, outside in the back with his garage door open by the alley working on his car and essentially I was "home safe" now so-to-speak haha... and of course, the " piece-of-sh*t, " whomever it was, as I approached Gary, saw this, and then immediately drove off as I proceeded to tell him there what I'm pretty damn sure what was going on, and again, for a while actually, b/c that "POS" never left my vicinity steady slowly on my '6 and I knew it but just kept calm and thought of where to go haha (and DIDN'T want to just simply turn around abruptly to then just simply 'go back' to and inside to 'my' house, then still alone--and then the POS at that point would also know where I'd live too and would probably be back again at some point, who knew ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ?).. So yeah, some sickos out there need-be henceforth 'buried' instead for sure. He and others may TRY that with some small, innocent and more or less "defenseless" child, or even woman, but I can tell ya ONE thing, :) that shit wouldn't happen NOW, or ever, they would be directly delivering themselves literally to their OWN nightmare, " instead " haha. So yeah, even more so I kind of have this unspoken personal "Vendetta" if you will against all of these types f*ck*ng scumbags out there, who I'd have absolutely no problem whatsoever promptly and resolutely " Dispatching " #myself. Like that story of that random shadowy intruder you were telling of just f*ck*ng breaking in people's homes and staring at them while they're sleeping in the middle of the night is freaky as hell haha for real, some Michael Myers 'Halloween' type sh*t, don't matter if you're a boy or girl haha ....yea, I would honestly "IMMEDIATELY" 'attack' if I ever woke up to something like 'that' sh*t haha no question about it I wouldn't even give a sh*t, I wouldn't even hesitate, dude better be seriously 'ready' to "dance" for real as "I" don't play around either My Dude lol ..since he (was) apparently looking for some kind of 'date' or something. Who knows what some of these seriously deranged people think man haha. Yes, all in all though it definitely goes without saying, "#HUMANS" ourselves are the actual 'real' monsters in this world, and in many more ways than just one, that's for damn sure. At least 'other' animals, despite their type of cruelties inflicted on each other, are still just simply more of a purer 'natural' order of things... Some depraved "humans" on the other hand, with the depths of our evolutionary psychology and consciousness, (and in MOST cases) a potent and deadly mix of deficient "Environmental" factors, can truly run amok, "Afoul." We are truly beautiful, and at the flip-side, truly ugly and "#Monstrous" creatures I tell ya.. Good ol' 'Human Beings' man, truly Something Else haha ....
