As a student of literature and linguistics it is amazing to see how much the language from Ancient Greek evolved into what's spoken today. Also how some of the pronunciations have changed over the centuries.

It’s just insane to me that Greek is an ancient language used to write some of the oldest literature known to man but it’s still spoken today.

so cool to notice that I know 11-12 of those letters mostly bc of maths/physics at school and i had heard of some of them. such a beautifully language. maybe one day i’ll actually start learning it

I just realized I practically knew the whole alphabet after taking physics 1 and 2 and all the calc classes lmao

A lot of these letter are similar to the russian ones i think, I recognized the pronunciation of some greek ones from russian letters.

Studying is more effective before going to sleep. 😉
