I’m usually alone at home and when I fall asleep to your kind and gentle voice, I’ll wake up sometimes but I’ll hear you ask me if I’m okay, and I’ll sleepily reply I’m okay, and turn over towards your voice to get closer to your loving kindness. Hey there - I had a thought. I LOVE the consent-based approach where you ask if we mind if you move in close. It would be an act of exceptional service and kindness, if you sometimes sprinkled in an alternative path where someone says "I do mind" and you say "okay, I'll just stay back here and do x." That way, not only do we feel safe because you are telling us what you are doing and asking if it's ok. We feel doubly safe because we know it's okay to say "no." (BTW - I've never said no). Feel free to tell me to pound sand, it's your channel but something I was thinking about.

I have a problem with insomnia. I have tried listening to various ASMR videos, but this one worked well for me. The brushing sound was like ocean waves, but softer, and your very quiet breaths are comforting. One suggestion would be to add some poetic lines like this quote from Carl Sagan “The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of star stuff”. Sleep well knowing you are a miracle.

I am ... afraid of rainstorms apparently, especially long hard ones. This relaxed me greatly. Not as terrified. Heart slowing back down and breathing slightly better. It subsides then comes back up big time. I hate storms. Thank you for comforting me some, helping me breathe again.

🙏 Please help me. I'm so grateful for your ASMR kindness. It may be pretend, but I am in a bad state. A husband that doesn't talk/share info., I can't work for a long time, got injured at work. I'm finished. Too young to retire. But my depression is at its zenith. I didn't catch it before although I've watched/ fallen asleep to this one several times. 39:12 where you finish telling me "that is the message". I know this is for everyone's benefit, bit I have a special assignment. So to the one who assigned me, sorry I'm late. I'm on it. And, Steven? You should do more of these. For those of us fighting alone, it is much appreciated. Too many would-be boyfriends offer a relaxing evening that involves me listening to their problems, helping them relax, but not me. They expect me to feed them encouragement and to be their mommy even, some of them. It is refreshing to hear a man reassuring ME for a change. If ever I can return the favor, for you I would. Most likely I will have to pay it forward. I wish there were a whole set of these by you. I would listen to all of them. Nightly. Thanks for helping me rebuild my castle.
