I'm a crafter! I'm loathe to get rid of crafting supplies. But I just recently moved across country and I had to give away so much stuff. The adage goes, "one man's trash is another man's treasure". Good for you not throwing them away. This video was gold. I loved it. Thank you.
Ahhhhh no wayyyy my OG fav and new fav collide❤❤Ive been watching asmr for 10 yrs through my BA and PHD degrees😢you ladies are magical. So nice to see creators supporting others
I get i, I really do. Ima quilter and struggle to keep my fabric in check. When I have enough good sized pieces, I make big dog mats for people who can't afford dog beds. The only thing I might have to buy is the batting for the inside. Seeing some of your stuff from videos brought ME joy. I hope you're not giving up your tissue paper wrapping videos because they're my favorites. You mentioned a link to old videos; I would love to watch them. I only found you and ASMR videos about a year ago.
I know how you feel. I recently inherited a houseful of craft items (including over 500 balls of yarn) and I've had to give so many things away. I'm in a bedsit and just don't have the room to keep everything. It's so hard to get rid of stuff because you know as soon as it's gone you will find a use for it.
"I'm going to separate the eyeballs out" I can just imagine somone overhearing that snippet as a conversation on a bus or train - it being said so matter of fact andand thinking 'Whaaaat?' 😂 Thank you for another fabulous de-cluttering video. Very entertaining.
I have more yarn and fabric than I will ever be able to use - I've tidied it all up and done a load of yarn winding and fabric refolding - but I am NOT getting rid of any of it 😂. I've actually managed to sent to charity a pile of cross stitch kits (quite big ones) which I will never do but haven't got rid of before now because I spent so much money on them. Just about to start on my office supplies stash (groan). Thanks Charlotte - you are keeping me moving and motivated.
I'm in the process of downsizing from a suburban house to an apartment. The amount of stuff I have that won't be going with me is somewhat staggering. Just the items in the garage, all those tools for maintaining the yard and house. Mower, line trimmer, hedge clippers, saws, etc. Woof. I've made much less progress than planned.
My wife is a crafter. She recently moved to a bigger room in the house and I inherited her old sewing room to my things. The cupboard in her old room is full of crates of material and wool, none of which she will never use having moved on to other crafts, but won’t surrender. Help!
