Me at my eye exam after watching 300 of SRP’s videos: “Ah i see you’re using the reduced Snellen test” Optometrist: “who...are you.” Me: “I’m YOUR optometrist today”
4:42 Ten seconds after this time stamp, there is an accidental mic hit that is very sudden and made me jump. Just warning you all so that you don’t get as startled as I did :)
Today I went to go get glasses and I was able to tell my mom what every piece of machine was and what it was used for. Such a good experience. Thanks for giving us relief from stressful days and also educating us!!
just discovered your channel and as someone who’s always loved going to the opticians, especially the “with or without” part, i’m so grateful for your videos! thank you for your work
I love how you have obvious moments of asmr, such as the scraping of the two lenses towards the start on the cylinder parts, and then you have unintentional asmr as your basic and you merge the two so well. It's very relaxing and one of the best I've seen in a long time. Feel I could actually sleep to your voice. Which I will do now haha. Goodnight.
OMG Just seen your sub amount and JHEEZ your growing fast and with full reason! Your videos are amazing Steven and your doing an incredible job with them keep up the good work because in no time your be at 100k very soon!!!
Hope you dont mind me falling asleep to your content, sir! For what it's worth, it's a thoroughly enjoyable experience before I pass out haha. Appreciate you!
I love realizing time to time that SRP can show that you don't need high-tech supplies to record a good ASMR. I1m at the point I need at least one video for myself either for work or for sleep it just turns off my brain.
Hey man you have help me get some of my best sleep since the start of highschool. I’m gonna graduate this year and I haven’t had this type of good sleep in ages!
I would pay this man tens of thousands of dollars for him to be my optometrist! Plus, those are the original drawings and text are from the original Thomas the Tank Engine books written personally by the creator Rev. Awdry himself from the 30s ish. That chart is probably worth a good bit of money.
Swear down last night I put on one of your videos to sleep and all I remember is the first few seconds cos I must have nodded off immediately and that is your power 🤣
So I’ve been wondering (and maybe I missed a Q&A video explaining this), but is SRP an actual eye doctor or just a devoted enthusiast? Either way, this has become my go to channel - and I was never the most keen on male ASMRtists! Bravo!
I'm so happy that I found your Channel! Eye exams are my favorite role play. I have a request! Would it be possible to make a video with the eye device up to the camera, or with a pair of glasses on the camera, so that you can flip the glass back and forth when you ask,"1 or 2?"
The moment I clicked on something to do with my vision, I seen a shadowy figure at my window, thanks, I now need to get my eyes checked. Perfect timing!
Is it just me or does no see a difference with the lens each time.. this makes me sleepy but sometimes, I find myself actually seeing if the letters are clear with or without 😂
My eyesight is pretty bad (lenses are +7.00 in left and +9.00 in right) and these roleplays are pretty accurate to the eye exams in real life, which makes it even more relaxing.
Do you personally find eye exams relaxing/ASMR inducing? I always have but never got to experience the relaxation completely bc of course I was following dr's instructions for the exam so ASMR has been a blessing in that sense 😂. Also I find personal attention very relaxing and I'm a CNA so sometimes when I'm brushing someone hair, bringing them food or helping to bathe them I wonder if they're as relaxed as I'd be. Also I saw in another comment you asked if you should do more intentional ASMR such as tapping or brushing. The amount of intentional ASMR vs unintentional ASMR that you do is perfect IMO. The videos are like roleplays so them being realistic is honestly enough for me to go to sleep but the intentional ASMR just makes me even more relaxed. I think adding some more small bits similar to what you already do intentionally wouldnt hurt if you wanted to experiment:) Edit: I had an idea for intentional ASMR being added. Let's say when you're asking "lens 1 or 2?" you pretend we went with lens 1, you could tap or brush the rim of the lens to signify that we chose that lens.
@@SRPASMR oooo ok just like most of your subs I think 🤣 Yeah the intentional asmr did seem like it caused a bit of a fuss but hey you're doing amazing so no need to change anything
