The red and green lenses are supposed to be put in front of each eye one at a time so the patient can let you know if they see better with the red or green and that lets you know to add more plus or more minus to their prescription.

Once again, an absolute stellar of a video. I loved the little tinkling sounds of the optical lenses, but what I really loved and liked the most is when you changed the camera angles to focus on the lenses, that you explained what their purpose was and how you were going about the exam. But I am glad that I walked away with a new prescription and 20/20 vision though...
