Honestly when you write in Japanese it’s shorter then English you don’t have to write as much when writing a word but when you are learning Japanese and how to write in Japanese it would be a bit hard so a book like this is very useful! Ty for teaching some Japanese ❤

I’d recommend writing each one 50 times. Just fill up notebooks with kanji practice until you get the balance of the characters and the stroke orders memorized. The biggest foreigner traps with writing kanji are having bad balance and bad line angles.

I am so terrible at reading katakana and knowing what English word they're going for. I literally would have repeated "doriru" over and over, never hearing "drill". >,< Also, I know I'm going to fall asleep before I ever finish the video, so I'm sorry if you already mention something along these lines, but you should totally check out WaniKani if you've never heard of it before. It's a kanji-learning program that teaches kanji based on complexity of radicals rather than complexity of meaning. This means that it doesn't teach you in an order helpful to passing the JLPTs, but is crazy helpful in terms of easing one into learning stroke-order and radical meanings.
