in my school Yu-Gi-Oh was an obsession and they banned even having them at one point. After a while they weren't banned anymore. , but pokemon was never a huge interest
I was a little too old for Yugioh and Pokemon when they became a thing. There was a fairly big Magic the Gathering following at my school during my time though. Luckily it wasn't quite popular enough for the school to want to ban it so we managed to get an official MtG club going.
My whole neighborhood nobody knew how to play so each person would pretty much end up making their own rules and insisting they were right lol it was pretty much a game of who could be more convincing It was still really fun
@@itsexpla It goes both ways... Golden magikarp worth a lot in the anime series. Then if it's a regular magikarp it's trading LITerAl AiR NoN GAmEr MovE WanT tO HAVe A baD TIme?
I remember in first grade one of the second graders traded me a legit first edition hitmonchan holo. It’s in terrible condition but I still have it to this day and I don’t know how he got it lol.
*SIGH!* I remember my early, early days with my little card binder. Pokemon was my first card game ever. First Gen! Ohhhh, to be that young again. Love your hair, btw! I knew I recognized that shade of pink. 😊
Was looking through my liked videos for the first time in AGES and found out that I found your channel so much earlier than I thought! So cool to see ties meet like this. THANK YOU ANY KAY!
You know what i could really see you do? A Jean Grey who became Phoenix video. A red wig and the yellow eyes, i could totally see it, would be awesome :-D
You are my favorite actor in ASMR. You are just riveting to watch and so diverse and insightful in a nuanced way. Thank you for making the type of content you do.
One of the biggest regrets I have in life was that I threw away my pokemon cards when I lost interest. I never suspected that I'd ever get back into the video games.
i've only recently found all my old pokemon cards which have managed to survive, if i had a magical amount of money i would 100% be continuing the collection, i am more than happy just watching a video where im being introduced to pokemon cards
I’ve come back to this video half a dozen times already. I think it’s how you talk, it’s just so conversational that it makes me feel like I’m actually trading with you. Plus, the sounds and your voice are super relaxing. Make another one maybe? :))
This asmr really puts me into a trance lol! Your enthusiasm and knowledge of pokemon is impressive and infectious! Would love to chat with ya bout the mons and how you got into it all!
the sounds in this are amazinggg, could you do an out of character whisper video where you show us all your pokemoncards with this exact setup? The sounds of you lifting the book to show the camera is sooo good
Ohhh I really like Goodra, and that Gengar is one of my favorite arts for Gengar...don't scratch it up! :) Great ASMR and then you pulled out the vintage PSA cards!
Man, I remember when I used to collect pokemon cards. I had so many that unfortunately had to be thrown away during moving because we were running out of time to get everything out. Never got that Charizard that I really wanted... Glad to hear Ash finally won tho!
ah yes. I remember the good old times when I was a child when I bankrupt my mom forcing her to buy me trading cards (except it was for moshi monsters) (I’m joking she didn’t really become bankrupt but like I highkey nuked her bank)
That's really sad ! But you can always collect again ,the game is fun to play and there's a chance you can find some of the same old cards again on the internet.
How did you know I only have „kind of basic“ cards? 😱 I was never allowed to „invest“ in pokemon cards. Today as an adult I still play cards. Hearthstone anybody?
