I am actually light skinned but It was really nice seeing a darker foundation and powder being used. I have always noticed how people always use light foundations for this kind of roleplays and it was really nice to see someone doing it differently. I'm pretty sure people with darker skin appreciate this❤ Edit: Honestly please stop replying to my comment if you are just gonna be mean. I only commented this because that was my genuine reaction when I saw the powder and foundation. It was new and interesting to me so I decided to address it. I’m not saying other asmr artists should buy darker foundations for inclusivity. If that’s what they want to do then they can go ahead and do so but literally no one ever said anything about that. For anyone saying anything about race. First of all I never mentioned race. I’m mexican, my mom has darker skin than mine, and she could totally wear that foundation. Also I remember watching a makeup role play from a black girl and she used a light foundation too which was one of the reasons why I made my initial comment. Cause even having watched more roleplays from people with darker skin it was literally the first time I saw someone(regardless of race or skin color who used darker foundations. Lastly, the people attacking other people under my comment for appreciating the inclusivity????? Like what exactly bothers you? I personally don’t care whether people use light or dark foundations, blonde, dark, or straight hair for their roleplays, but if someone appreciates the fact that they can watch the video and feel the roleplay a little bit more realistically thanks to the asmrtist, why does that bother you so much? Some of the replies really are disappointing.
Most the time they use their own make up products, and when they’re light skinned their products tend to be lighter. But, it is nice to see darker products being used.
what i like the most about this aside from the layered sounds is there's no excessive tapping of products before applying them. im not a fan of tapping in asmrs so this is such a gem to me. thank you ❤
Most of the time ppl use the shade of foundation, powder, etc that they already own. That’s why most of the white ppl doing makeup use light products , and the same with black ppl.
When you went towards the camera with that foundation and I didn't realize there was plastic wrap on it my heart stopped! I continue to admire your creativity in every single video. The snap transitions to a clean screen were magnificent and so tingly! I would also like to highlight your own personal makeup choices and how they reflect each role you play. this is not meant to come off as rude 😭😭 but do you watch a lot of like… white ASMRtist..? bc i feel like *most* people will just use their own shade, to save time and money etc. i don’t think it’s deliberate or they only want to use one kind i think it might just be a simpler fact of what’s available for them to use!!
