Just to repeat the description; the sandwiches are going to her friend who has three teenagers. The sandwiches she made were according to what the teenagers like!
I genuinely don’t understand why anyone moans about this. Even if she doesn’t specify where they are going she has 2 sons!! Anyone with a son knows they will eat like a locust 😂
*Love this. This gives me such “mom” vibes. Like when my mom would make me lunch for school in the morning. Super relaxing and makes me feel a sense of safety*
I love the sunlit table, the whispering, the crinkling, the numbers written on the bags, the light tinkling of the knives... even the way Mary carefully arranges the tomatoes, & makes sure that every nook & cranny of the bread surface is covered with the condiment... it’s all so relaxing & nostalgic.
@@willclose2311 someone describing their appreciation for the details of this video.. when u listen to asmr and find a vid that's just right, you'd understand
I'm vegetarian and it is so stupid that people feel offended. Even if she didn't record it, they were going to eat it either way Stop projecting your beliefs into people Thats not the way to go
@@shockersosa not on this video, no ... but theres been an on going wave of negative towards these sandwich prep/eating videos. I don't get why... theres nothing wrong going on 🤷🏽♀️
I appreciate people like you a lot. I wanted to be a full vegetarian but I truly struggle because my digestive disease prevent me from eating a lot of the foods vegetarians use to get enough protein, which I really need as an athlete. So I do pasture raised octo-lacto vegetarian (my GI is surprisingly okay with dairy), and occasionally I’ll have “ethically sourced” fish or chicken. I’ve literally felt ashamed of myself in front of vegetarians/vegans, didn’t approach a vegetarian I wanted to date over it even...so I really appreciate it
Thank good someone finally said that I am vegetarian myself and I also think that other people shouldn't criticize people based on their believes in the end if you don't like the video or get offended by it just don't watch it no one is forcing you to see it
I remember when my friend made fun of me for eating sandwiches for lunch. Saying that it wasn’t a “real meal” but that’s all my mother could afford to make😢 I’m very thankful for her till this day
Its been a year, but just fyi. Us dutchies (and many other northwestern europeans) eat sandwiches for breakfast and lunch, every single day. Its quite a nice meal if you ask me!!
@@valiant9601 a sad emoji + hearts is usually more like a more extreme way of showing love for something or someone. Like you're so overwhelmed by love or crying out of happiness :)
I love everything about these videos. How neat and tidy and organised everything is. How you spread the condiments right to the edges. It's just so satisfying!!!! And it's nostalgic to me, of being a kid getting ready with mom for a day trip to the beach. ❤️
Even though I sound crazy when I tell my boyfriend I'm watching a lady in America make sandwiches for an hour, I absolutely LOVE these videos. The reading of the ingredients and repetitive nature of making them knocks me out within 5 mins, I can never make it to the end. Thanks, Mary! :)
@@ApartmentKing66 now would you have had this same reaction had he said “girlfriend” instead? There’s tons of other people saying the same thing , mentioning telling their bf/gf/best friend goodnight before watching this. Are you commenting this same goofy complaint to them or do gay people just make your insides clench? 🙄
Honestly the sound of when you put the knife into the mayo jar and when you spread the condiments on bread is soooo soothing. It’s my first time watching a sandwich Asmr videos and I am definitely gonna watch more of them!
These sandwiches always look so good. I’m 6 months pregnant and literally all I want lately are pickles and tomatoes. I’ve got new ways to eat them now.
I love that in her other videos she talks about always buying her clothes at thrift shops for the last 25 years, but does her generosity like this. We need more people like this in the world.
Try telling your friends “i found a lady who speaks with a southern accent and she makes these relaxing videos but my most fav are of those of her arraning stuffs in the chemist/walmart/dollar store”. Oh the 👀 I get 🤣🤣
Me: "she's gonna make sandwiches? This is dumb...." *continues watching* Her: starts making first sandwich Me: "omg this is genius!" I swear you have the most random themed videos and tingle producing ideas. BUT IT IS ALWAYS ASMR GOLD!!
Soooo visually relaxing. The process of it all hits the visual triggers for sure (and makes me want a sandwich). :) BTW, it's great that you help out your friend with 3 teenage boys (and all the other friends you help). I can't imagine her grocery bill!
I'll never know why people feel bothered by your sandwich ASMR. Well one reason could be that they're vegan or vegetarian. And if you don't like her sandwich videos, maybe watch one of her other videos? Just let her do it. I cannot stand jewelry ASMR yet I don't criticize her for doing jewelry ASMR (I'm sure there is one or two videos). I just watch something I like, different people - different preferences. Her job is to cover up all preferences, including sandwiches because some people, including myself, love it.
I appreciate that you have tapped my need for “visual asmr” I enjoy watching people do mundane tasks like shopping, cleaning, building etc but there is usually too much of them stopping to talk and explain when I’d rather just watch the task. Thank you !!
This made me feel so good, I have OCD, and this woman just did every single thing that I do when I’m doing a sandwich and also on a ASMR way, this is amazing, thank you!
I’m a diagnosed OCD case, so I know exactly how deeply satisfying it must be for you to have hit upon a video that exactly followed your preferred method of making something. 😎👍 Funny enough, this video was almost exactly the same for me, with the exception of just one detail: I don’t eat or touch pork, so the use of those ham slices is literally the only thing that makes this video just a touch under a 10/10 for me. 🤣😁☺️
@@samy7013I have successfully resisted the intrusive thought to reply with a comment with a missing punctuation mark/additional space/spelling mistake. Thank you.
Looks like she's using Duke's Mayonnaise She mentions it in a different video. Being from Wisconsin I've never heard of it. I googled it and actually found it online. I'll have to try it.
It’s hard to find asmr videos that aren’t staged. I enjoy watching videos where people are just going about their daily lives i.e. preparing food, doing their skincare routine without the unnatural tapping and whispering sounds. Authentic videos like these are very relaxing and entertaining.
Now that i think about it, i've always hated sandwiches. Until recently i've been watching these videos and i realized that i dislike most food because it wasn't made with patience and detail. Recently i made myself a sandwich and i actually took time to fry bacon, add cheese, toast evenly the bread. My mother has admitted she hates cooking, therefore i've never truly enjoyed a good warm homemade meal on a daily basis. If i'm alive long enough to live alone, i'll make my meals with this amount of patience and detail. I didn't even know you could add different types of cheese and ham! This lady is wonderful. Kudos for the amount of love you add to both your channel and food, your kids are lucky to have you.
Oh boy I don’t know if you’ve got a terminal illness or depression or whatever, but you seem very cool, I like your sandwich-making technique, and I wanted you to know that someone (namely me) is thinking of you. Idk what you’re going through, but I just wanted to send you some love. Xxx
Dunno why, but this comment made me want to cry. You seem like a sweet soul. When I lived with my family when I was younger I’d go to high school, babysit, do my homework and make dinner for my family of 6 so my mother didn’t have to. I did that until I moved out when I started college. Now, I don’t like cooking. And it’s not because it’s not fun. I got used to making quick easy meals because by the time I made dinner for my family, I was simply exhausted. I want to do better for myself. I’m trying to cook more and try new things. It’s not that I hate cooking, it’s that I ended up not truly caring. A good meal can do so much.
@@twinkletxt i'm sorry you feel that way, i hope you can mend your "relationship" to call it somehow with cooking. I also stopped caring about cooking, in general about many things and looking back at this comment made me realize i'm becoming just like my mother, cooking to feed our stomachs, not our souls. We'll both be better at it one day though, good luck man.
When a meal is prepared with love it tastes better. It doesn't matter if its a grilled cheese sandwich or a full course dinner. The care that goes into the preparation makes all the difference. 💗 Happy cooking! 🍳
I'm new to this channel and Mary seems like a very sweet person. Maybe it's just me but the fact that two of her recent videos were just her making food for friends and neighbors is really nice. :)
incase yall were wondering what "comments" everyone is talking about, one person commented about the amount of mustard and the other comment was about germs. (i was curious about the comments people were talking about to i scrolled through them all)
There are just people who are set on being miserable and trying to drag others into their pathetic misery. I love the sandwich making. I'm here for the sounds not to bitch about who are the sandwiches for, germs, ingredients, food waste. Just dumb really. This video is awesome 🌟 🍞 🍅 🐷 🧀 🍞
Listened to this while I stocked the cooler at work and put away our soda and beer order (200+ cases for beer and 150+ cases for soda). So thank you for making it enjoyable!
i’m vegan. i’ve been vegan for four years. i don’t understand how this upsets other vegans or vegetarians. she is not forcing you to do anything. stop trying to make other people have the same lifestyle choices as you do.
Closed minds, that's how. I watch all kinds of videos about food. I'm always open to try different meals even if they are not something I usually eat. Its an interesting life when you open your mind to different things. This video is awesome. 👍
Me I always put butter regardless and that's the first thing that goes on my bread 🙂 I am hungry at 1am here, gonna make one now This video is awesome I will try her way too 👌♥️
This is so wholesome to see🥺 My family isn't close with any friends or relatives so I rarely get to see anyone preparing food to give to other people (except for holidays). I hope I get the chance to be giving and social like Mary once I move out💕
I live in Texas and when I make sandwiches it’s the same thing. I have to put mustard on one side mayo/miracle whip on the other the meat goes with the mustard the cheese lettuce tomato what have you goes on the side with the mayonnaise/miracle whip. A little bit of salt and pepper and we are good to go oh and don’t forget the sweet pickles! LOL I love love this video. By the way, living in Kansas when I was young, super hot summer days, my grandmother would make sandwiches by the stack full usually toasted peanut butter and butter and jelly sandwiches. She made the preserves from her garden actually. And she would wrap them in Wax paper and then wrap them in foil because this was before Ziploc bags or any kind of plastic bags. Oh the memories of wax paper sandwiches. ❤️😊🌼
I'm not sure why the sandwich videos are unpopular BUT I'm here to say food asmr, that is not mukbang is some of the most relaxing ones for me. Love love love the way you whisper the ingredients and the gentle way you make these Sammies. Would love more of this content! You are amazing ❣️
None of the sandwiches I make for myself will ever be as good as the sandwiches my mom made for me as a child. I don’t know what my mom put in the sandwich that is any different from what I put into my own, but something is fundamentally better in what my mom makes for me. Guess it’s the added love. Thanks for the video!
This is a video that I have come back to a few times over the past year. I love it so much. You have the most gentle and calming way of doing things! 💕
i love all your sandwich making videos! i love when you whisper the ingredients back and all the sounds from the food. i love seeing what you put in each one! its very comforting, very motherly and thats why i love them so much! like watching your mom prepare your lunch. thank you for these videos! please make more!
Mary, I just have to tell you, these are some of my favourite videos, not only of yours, but of all ASMR time. They are honestly hypnotic, so relaxing, and your sandwich making skills are lovely. 🤗
You did the spoon for the jelly trick yahhhhs 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. I personally think that having to scoop and spread jelly with a knife should be considered a form of torture
I love these so much! Don’t let anyone tell you differently! I work in a deli, and a trick we do to keep the bread from getting soggy for a sandwich that won’t be eaten ASAP, is putting wet things like tomatoes between the meat and the cheese
I find it sooo satisfying that when you spread the condiments on the pieces of bread, you spread it evenly over the entire slice, all the way to the edges.
these sammich videos give me a stupid amount of tingles and goosebumps. they're THAT good. please don't stop making them!! and i love that you give them to people who need them. you have a heart of gold lady and i love ya!
This video is perfection. Mary, I hope you can see by the likes vs. dislikes that the idiots who take issue with your sandwich making videos need to be ignored. Thank you for making these videos, the rain was absolutely beautiful as well.
Just wanted to let you know that you are kindest soul I've ever met through a screen. The energy I feel from you every time I come across your channel is unreal. Its amazing how people like you can make others feel loved.💕💕
