No. Its actually not even the visuals as some prefer to sleep with asmr or relax. Asmr are certain sounds like the flowing of sand or dripping of water, the crackling of bakingpaper or plastic spoons tapping together, rubbing in hands for example. Visuals can bring an added effect but music has nothing to do with it and is often a distraction from the actual sound :) Watch Tingting, tony's triggers, moonlight cottage, female asmr for some totally different ways of doing asmr. None have music unless its very very softly in the background for ambience
