I was in a similar situation except my single mother was trying to suck the joy and youth out of me to fill her empty and hole filled heart. I felt like I had no life energy too. For my frugal friends, I found out many Goodwills have $0.99 Sundays where the color of the week is $0.99! It requires some digging, but there is absolute GOLD to be found especially if you're like me and need to save. I hope this helps someone. You are loved!
