One of the coolest parts of ASMR is that there are so many different creators with special interest, different jobs, different cultural backgrounds... And that gives such a diversity of videos with stuff you've never heard of or don't know much about. My knowledge of bindies was limited to: red bindies are for married woman and sparkly drop bindies are a cultural appropriation thing for parties. I never knew there was so much more to it. This was very relaxing and I loved learning all this. I'm following you right now. Also, you are so pretty!

Such a lovely video ❤ It would be a dream to visit store like this and meet a salesperson like you. You speak very naturally and comfy way! I have couple of bindis which I have bought in my childhood. I've never used them, because as a child I always waited for the "fancy enough" moment, and nowadays I'm afraid it'd be inappropriate since I'm from different culture and religion. But they are cute anyway 💎

Colour can matter, every tilak or bindi means something differently but now most women wear bindi according to the colour they are wearing. :)

Hey 👋 a fellow indian here, Bindi is an acessory worn by womens usually. It comes in many colours, but mostly the married womens use red bindi. It isnt really associated with any religious thingy, anyone can try it though! You can say that bindi is something which is used as an accessory among indians/ south asians!

@@thamararodriguez9986 Not really. It's just like an accessory. Example- if you're wearing a green outfit then you can use green bindi to match with it. But the red one is usually used by the married womens most of the time (but that doesn't mean anyone can wear it). Anyone can try, any colour of bindi to match their outfits or looks. So yeaa, you're open to every colour of bindi :)

Yes, you can find ancient temples in India and even paintings that have bindi on the figures, even Bhuddha has worn a tilak (religious symbol on forehead).
