Absolutely beautiful piece with some nice twists on some of your old tricks! The built-in battleship game was totally unexpected, and I loved using one of the keys SIDEWAYS as a handle. Genius.
I absolutely love seeing every single piece you make. The whimsy and fun that you put into every build you make is just incredible. And as an aspiring carpenter myself, I hope to someday be able to make builds as beautiful and as fun as these. Thank you so much for sharing these with everyone and being such an inspiration for myself and plenty others.

Hey, i just found you and love your work! I have a question....have you ever considered using biometrics or maybe a voice activated passphrase to access the most secure parts of your secret compartments?

Thanks! I have tried filming pieces of the process but it is a long one so I haven’t filmed the whole thing. This particular table took around two hundred hours.
This is awesome! I have a question about the hinge in the chessboard. Is it custom-made or off the shelf? I'm keen to make something similar but not sure the best way to fit an inset door that opens when unlocked. I assume the gas struts help it to open when unlocked? And the springs in the hinge plates themselves?
I just wanna know how you get the table open if you close the entire thing with the chessboard on top instead of the marble maze after you've put away the mouse lever. Like doesn't the entire table lock back up again and need to be reopened which would be really hard if you can't even open the first compartment for they key that's in the marble run
....dang. I think I sent him with a spare key he could put on his key chain but I could be wrong. Where the heck was this suggestion when I was building the table?
