Welcome to the thirteenth episode of my ASMR oil painting series! 🎨 In this video, I begin adding the first highlights to the water, enhancing the natural reflections and bringing more depth and life to the scene. These highlights are key to capturing the movement and light in the river, as the woman battles a large salmon in the flowing waters of Michigan. As always, enjoy the relaxing ASMR sounds of paint mixing, brush strokes, and the patting of the canvas while I work on this commissioned piece.
This painting, inspired by the bold, dynamic style of Frank Frazetta combined with my impressionistic approach, is steadily progressing. The landscape and water come alive as I refine the interplay of light and shadow in this dramatic scene. The highlights in the water add contrast and texture, contributing to the tension and beauty of the fly fishing moment.
