I'm doing the same thing!! I hate hearing harleys rip and roar past my house at 2am, but i dont mind the sound of a vtwin banging through the gears in my computer speakers as i work. I'm a hypocrite
hey man what a nice ride... I broke my neck some years ago I wished for so long to ride like that... I just spent the last 2 1/2 hours watching you ride your bike... it was like I was driving myself... except I'm not all sore an I didn't spend any money on gas lol... thanks buddy... be carful.. thanks for driving me around Australia... where are we riding to next time??? lol

This is a relaxing n awesome video. I’m recovering from a motorcycle accident resulting in my left leg not being able to bend ever again. Hearing this gives me hope that I’ll ride again soon. With forward controls. Cheers brother 🤙🏼 Ride safe . Watch out for incompetent cagers
i got samson short shots and i feel like they're a hair louder. could just be the recording though. also, i get this crazy sound when i engine brake. like when semis use the jake brake. whenever i let off the gas its like BAAAH BAHHHBAM BAM BAADAHHHHHH. it's jetted right and everything, and i f'ing love it. loud pipes save lives.
@@HarleyBreakoutGuy Oh, thanks for the info. I'm a big fan a loud pipes cause I think the sound of bike is a part of the experience ( among a lot of other things of course ), but I'm aware that it might not be ideal for longer rides....as you confirmed lol. Have you tried earplugs for the wind noises ?
@Todd Spikes yes they do I think it was the late 1980 or early 90s that Honda had similar engine only one year, HD patent rights on it. That Honda must be a collector I would think.

Nice Bike and great sounding pipes. Love the video. I too like a few others have been playing this in the background while I work. I just had knee surgery 4 days ago so I can't ride my own, but this is like physical therapy for me.
I never watch TV or movies, but after a long day of riding and getting back from a biker party, I can sit down and relax and watch this video all the way through

Hey man, I'm new here and I'm just starting out with this miracle called 'riding a bike'. Do you have any recommendations for a starting bike? I know you are riding Harleys and you like them a lot and all that stuff but, I was thinking about a Yamaha Virago 535. What do you think about it? This is why Harleys are special because of the authentic all american harley sound - having said that let me say this, the Milwaukee 8 doesn't sound like a Harley sadly.
I kid you not, I came back to this video and put it on with the headphones on low volume while I read my college textbook. I needed something to fill the void and this seems to work.

That sound is just like audio crack... Just pure euphoria. Great quality video man, damn good sound quality and the camera is remarkably still considering the vibration.. You must have decent gear. Ive seen terrible videos and good ones and you my friend I must say are of the latter.
Just got the new Fatboy ...man does your bike sound sweet . Almost went with the breakout but being 5ft8 it just stretched me out more than I felt comfortable with
if the install is done by the dealer at the time of purchase it is supposed to be covered under warranty , stage 1 exhaust ,intake and fuel ....even up to stage 4 if it is done at the time of purchase

Very cool video. I am filming my Savage Roads episodes all over the planet and think I will start using GoPro cameras as well. The feeling of being on the bike is way cool for the viewer!
Yes, we use them too but not facing forward. I will try this tomorrow when we climb a mountain here in Guatemala. Greest I am coming to OZ to shoot an episode.

I'm fairly sure your headlamp beam won't reach as far as the moon, so why adjust it that high? And please, buy some sockets, extensions and a ratchet or two for future adjustments.
I don't know how you do any wrenching with gloves on . I would of quickly got aggravated and launched them across the room. The bike sounds like a proper Harley should , thanks for sharing 👍
My school ended yesterday and in studying for my drivers lisence. Also thinking of getting a Harley but is there any kind of lisence you need to own and drive a motorcycle???
You need a car license first, then get a motorbike, this way you will know all the dangers of riding bikes especially the blind spots must watch out for.
Great sound and video. it's beautiful there and I hope I can visit one day, wouldn't look forward to the long flight though. Good vid but maybe a chest cam would work better as I got pretty dizzy watching this
I got Vance and Hines Short Shots Staggered with Big City Thunder Monster Baffles - no you dont need to get a fuel tuner if you only mod the exhaust - but if you mod the exhaust + air intake then you do need to get a Tuner.
Sounds good. Get some plastic totes, fill a place in your garage with them, put all that clutter in there and once they are full throw everything else out before you end up on the show Hoarders.
I see a lot of reviews that say this bike is not comfortable for distances but I think is not true….I sat on one in the store and was so cozy…what is your opinion?
Im not so tall only 5ft 9 so the leg reach to the foot pegs was perfect and is so low my knees are bent to touch the ground…a tiny bit leaning forward onto those slammed handle bars but minimal…very relaxed. when I finally get it i will probably go out all day on it ..
Harley Davidson Breakout Ducati Panigale 1299 . As long as it s smooth road. Softtails have very minimal suspension travel. If you up grade and add a few inches then yes , very good comfortable ride.
Nice! My friend recently hooked me into harleys (he has a '19 fat bob) and I'm planning to get the licence within the next few years and get an iron 883 some day!
the fat bob is by far the best Harley ever made - your friend is lucky ! ... and good luck with you endeavor to get a license ... there's nothing comparable to riding a motorbike - freedom !
Despite the chain drive cam issue that will eventually break, maybe its it possible to have a rebuild of the bottom....install new cam that is gear driven instead of chain and plastic tensioner....a good mechanic who is in the know will be able to tell you....and with the cooling issues maybe an upsized oil pump.....??? if so the potential problem is solved. Just enjoy the bike it is really beautiful and I can tell it is well cared for.!!...I still like the 2017 best ...even better than the 2018 with the new engines...thanks for the videos and just keep riding that thing...thats what its made for!
