In the intro Glow starts to laugh when she explains what she’s about to do. I just want to point out that I almost dropped my phone on my face and when I picked it up she was laughing and for a second I was tripped out because I thought she saw me do that...🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m so tired haha. OMG yes, any pointy object like that gives me the tingles/shivers near my forehead - I've had that since I was a little kiddo before ASMR was ever a recognized thing. Like, everytime my mom gave me a haircut and held the closed scizzors near my forehead while she combed out the next section of hair to cut, I'd get that.

I think that basically the way this works is to either distract you from whatever you’re thinking about or sort of overload you with information that’s very focused on specific things when your mind may be racing and having larger or more stressful thoughts. Keeping the focus up somewhere other than where your thoughts would be becomes the distraction and exhaustion that your brain needs to reset. It’s a really good variety of video for anyone who needs to take their mind somewhere else but maybe is finding it difficult to do. If you’re an overthinker or if you have alot of troubles and especially if those are causing insomnia, this style could do the trick.

This is definitely one of my new favorites! I love being spoken to at the same time that the triggers are happening, it's a really nice combo of audio and visual. I also really enjoy when you use your hands to "touch" our face, it somehow causes tingles even without audio!
