These magazines were given to me by my nail tech. I was enamored by the quality of these pages as they are very thin and the binding is cheap so there are special crinkle sounds. I have lots more too! Looking forward to making more. My whispered version tomorrow is actually a remake. No voice over.

One of my last wonderful memories with my Grandma was us looking at quilting magazines together. She had dementia but in this moment she seemed to be herself...just turning the pages like she was really reading and enjoying the pictures. I saved the magazines we looked at and I got through them from time to time to remember her 💕

Hello Kerin! I’m so glad you enjoyed this video. It’s not a new quilt. I just don’t use my attic space very much. I’m trying to venture into different rooms of the house. So in a way it is like you had a visit with a friend in her attic. LOL 😃 ❤️😘🤗

Hahaha 😊 I have actually never been in an attic before and so I am sure that I would have enjoyed it 😊 Attics are not common in Western Australia. We have roof spaces of course but they are rarely standing height and dont have flooring. I guess because, in most instances, an attic would be like a sauna over here 🤪 I do recall seeing your attic in your house tour. It's a lovely space 🥰

Kerin, it did used to be an unusable space for just storage and was hot hot hot! My husband put up new drywall and insulated it so now it’s a usable space. I kind of wondered if you had seen it. I’m glad you did. It used to be a hot mess literally. 😂

You are such clever people! Your house is adorable! Makes me miss my lovely ol' country house so much. These lovely ol' houses are so full of character and lend themselves to ultra feminine decor. However, they can also be hard work but worthwhile if you have the money and the flare that you have :-) I am looking forward to a good look at your hubby's hearth too :-)

I love reading magazines. The main reason is for the crinkly sounds but also for the beautiful pictures. I sometimes cut them aout and put everything in a binder. I use plastic pockets to create new crinkly sounds. and I like reuse these pictures as model for drawings. I do my own ASMR ;) I enjoy your videos so much because you inspire me and also because I discover stuff we don't have in my country like different brands or magazines titles. Thank you very much. That’s really cool Laly. I do a similar thing. I keep crinkly notebooks by my chair. I use them to fidget with. The sound is nice but it’s officially considered Stimming. Especially if you enjoy the feeling of it in your hands. Texture, feel, & sight, etc.

Hooray for cheap binding! You're right, it does make for some *really* nice crinkles! I especially love how you press down on the binding after turning each page. Extra crinkles! Definitely!💖 you wrote : "waiting-room sounds" and at once i was a little girl, seating in an old waiting room at my moms' dentist clinic, wrapped with smell of clove and kerosene stove, waiting patiently for someone to start browsing through magazines, the only sound that helped me to relax.

Michal, I tried to re-create the waiting room scene. I had a whole video of it. But I could-not-make-it-work. So frustrating. So I just lay down in my bed. LOL! Nevertheless the sounds of these magazines definitely remind me of waiting rooms. Your memories sound sweet.

Rebecca’s Beautiful ASMR Addiction I developed HELLP syndrome after being in the hospital for 6 days with severe pre eclampsia and delivered by emergency c section at 31 weeks 1 day. Little one is doing quite well after an extensive stay in the NICU and staying home is our new norm. :) we are thankful for a lot of things in 2020, amidst all the chaos!! 💛

ASMR Craft Videos, I do fall asleep to my own videos quite often. But I think the only reason is because I listen to my no-talking videos. I can forget that it’s me and lose the awareness and self consciousness. I started this channel originally to make videos that would work for me. I never thought it would grow into anything.
