I'd much rather use Vallejo paints, but I can't be arsed to figure out each games workshop colour equivalent so I'm stuck using the overpriced citadel paints
@@matthewbell739 there's a GW / Vallejo paint compatibility chart which gives an approximation here: www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Paint_Range_Compatibility_Chart but if you want to get deep and figure out the GW actual colour there is this list here which sort of gives you the official RGB color in hexdecimal en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Citadel_paints I've used that wiki page to work out which actual pigments (and I mean the root pigment code from say, the plant leaves etc which makes up the GW paint). I'm doing all sorts of investigation work at the moment with all the different Flow Improvers, thinners an Matt Mediums for brush and airbrush for several brands i.e. vallejo, liquitex, winsor and newton etc and I tell you it's a minefield !
What are you talking about. Vallejo has the best paint. Loads of warhammer ppl use it instead of citadel. The fact that he uses vallejo proves that he is legit.
Any sort of model would be great! Persoanlly, I would love a multi-part series of you assembling a larger Lego set, maybe a star wars or endgame set in-character as obi wan/thor!
*When you haven't commented a Prequel Quote on Fred's videos for weeks but you're back now* "at last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi, at last we will have revenge" 😂
One time in high school, my math teacher was trying to sell us car insurance, an entire lesson talking about nothing but car insurance, i ain't complaining, but I sure as hell wasn't listening
I would listen to this gorgeous man lull me with his whispering for hours if I could but it might be an impossibility for me. I am so happy and relieved. I couldn’t sleep, found this video and am rapidly typing my comment before I 😴. What a find! I just subscribed. NIGHT ALL 😍😌😴
Nicely done man! I’ve not been into modeling for like 40 years but suddenly have the urge to visit the hobby shop. This is not only relaxing but looks like good fun. 👍🏻🤓
How do you find the time?! 🤔 Work, gym, asmr video's, building models, time for a relationship and routines we don't even know about. You really are a super hero 😊
HELL YES. Friday is my birthday, so this surely will be sufficient throughout that day and for todays night. I absolutely love brush triggers, chinese calligraphy, painting and such. So this will be absolutely amazing. Thank you, Fred and keep up your good work. Excelling of late! G'night or a blessed day to y'all 🤙🏼
Lovely asmr very relaxing. I am a railway modeller and always build kits for my layouts. I often find out building very relaxing. Also the trains running are very relaxing. Thanks Owen
I love this! You should do more of these! It would be nice to see more of the process (montage style), like you putting in the levels, painting and glueing the cannons, and attaching the pieces.
wow thank you for that last part. I do believe a ship at sea is my new trigger. Also awesome smoke fx. I can relate to this ship model painting. Sometimes the painting is more fun than putting the model together but with a ship...prob fun painting
Oh my gosh, I would love to see this finished!! If you decide to do a follow up video with some of the details and maybe the making of the cloth sails that would be amazing!
You know after all the rude Englishman videos this is refreshing, it's wonderful to hear you enjoy something so much and just nerd out! Keep it up Fred, and keep us updated I'm interested to see how this turns out!
So cool that u are a modeler iv noticed alot of people are getting into it recently i started again in feb and am working on like 12 diff models love this asmr
Omega Ω Fury That is okay, I’m sorry you felt offended because I put “edit” in my comment, I just wanted to make sure you was feeling okay! Sorry for the inconvenience have a nice day/night! 😊👍🏼
I'm not sure if yours is one of the models with "easy click system", BUT if it is you did the right thing painting after it was assembled. It's a pain to do it the other way around because even the lightest coat of painting makes so much harder to get the tiny pieces to click into their place. Great work, Fred!
Are you going to do another LEGO build ASMR video? The two you’ve done are by far my favorites on the channel, and I’d love to see you tackle a larger / more involved Star Wars model. Hopefully enough people enjoyed the last one so that you’re interested in doing so?
I really enjoyed this Fred - I was hoping you would bridge the gap between the Lego and plastic model kits - please could you do some more of this type of ASMR video? Cheers, Dennis
