I love people rambling at me about things I don't know how to do. It's like my ignorance when it comes to the subject makes its tinglier. It's like my mom talking to her about her painting while I talk about my music. We're both like "mmm yes yes those are words". 😄
It's my belief that asmr is a biological response to those types of situations. That's when I would experience it 30 years ago as a kid. Usually with my grandparents. But imagine living 80,000 years ago being taught to knap a blade from obsidian, or make rope from a plant, or clean a fish. I believe it's an autonomic response to those situations to encourage the listener to stay engaged in what's happening.
I learned a long time ago that ASMR artists don't like comments about their looks. I generally just listen to ASMR while I'm doing other things. But I have to say that you make me want to watch as well as listen. You are amazing.
